He has too many options, plus I haven't really played him since early Season 3, so this video is not a full-on exploration of Frieza but a showcase of just the new tools he got from v1.32 to v1.33.

*Description:*
00:00 Introduction
Showcases a Golden Frieza midscreen loop with 236L, ending with Sorbet's Ray Gun and one of the most iconic Dragon Ball moments. The buffs to 236L/M allows this to be done midscreen now (previously in v1.31 it could only be done in the corner). Sorbet's Ray Gun now deals damage comparable to a Lv.3 super with no double-super penalty and leaves the target in a prolonged juggle state for easy follow-ups.
00:32 Side switch after 236L
After 236L, dash super jump into j.M, then slightly delay both j.L to squeeze Frieza underneath the target. It is a shame that he does not have an air normal or special that makes use of his launch smash.

Shows how you can get into a specific distance where 1S can directly lead to 22S.
01:03 2L 5L starter in the corner, triple 214S
Shows how you can perform 214S three times in a combo from a scaled starter. The ending segment is more tricky due to restriction on combo time: the 2M before DR needs to be meaty in order not for it to drop in between the two hits. This is done by timing 2M from a bit further away, such that its first hit connects late during its active frames.

Shows how you can perform 214S four times in a combo from an M starter. For more leniency on the dash 5S early in the combo, delay the falling j.M slightly.
01:49 2L 5L starter in the corner, big character
Shows an alternative route if the target is a bigger character.
02:11 2L 2L starter in the corner, slow orb in between discs
The slow orb (236S4) allows Frieza to chase after the target with 5M. The timing of the slow orb is a bit tricky as it needs to be delayed to match the timing of the retuning discs.

Shows how you can perform 214S four times on a big character from an M starter.
02:51 Double Death Slasher sparking starter
The first Death Slasher is from the 5MMM auto combo, which draws the target toward Frieza on hit. The second is 236L, which can easily combo thanks to the reduction in recovery of Death Slasher. This deals slightly more damage overall than going straight to sparking after one Death Slasher. 236L can only reach ZBroly midscreen but is universally in the corner.
03:14 Non-smash 5H into full screen 214S
This is now possible on a few characters but not auto-timed against Cooler. After 214S connects, do a dash 236M, and then super jump air dash over the returning discs.
03:29 Meaty 1S for 22S
Showcases how you can set up meaty 1S into 22S with Frieza's ki blast sometimes (because the 6th hit causes wall bounce and increases juggle height of the target), but the starting location is very specific.
03:51 Golden Frieza midscreen side switches
Every air IAD is done by double-jumping backward. In order for the j.L to hit backward, the target needs to have a decently large hurtbox. The timing of the last j.H in the second rep is very tricky, as the hitstun after the j.L right before landing is already very low.
04:10 Golden Freiza sparking staircase, TOD from 5L
Old combo, but now due to the ridiculous buff to Sorbet's Ray Gun, Frieza can perform a TOD even from 5L.
04:41 Loop non-smash 5H into full screen 214S
The combo up until the first 214S does not require any delay against Majin Buu.
04:56 Meter-dump sparkless TOD, 2L 2L starter
Another TOD from a scaled starter. Sparkless too.

that combo with the returning discs into aerial dragon rush off the superdash was absolutely phenomenal. This is how freiza was supposed to be.
I love it when such creative and stylish combos reward players with huge damage and meter build. And it's all just solo stuff, if you add Special Tag, Normal Tag, EX moves, and assists DBFZ becomes the fighting game paradise of the genre (very similar to the MvC series).
To be fair the high damage is largely due to Limit Break.

So on the disc combos like the 3rd combo for example, after you throw the first disc and you hit the quick first part of the 2m and eye beam and then back dash it’s either the disc never hits on return or if it does hit bc u delay the 2m a little more then the back dash isn’t far enough away and u stuck blocking them, I need help with this part smh.
If the one before connects at a low enough height, this one would be easy. Otherwise, as you've realized, you need to manually time your 1S to create something between the two scenarios you described.

I think because the Orb hit with cinematic version, he has a bit of invulnerability until he lands.

Do the input of transform to recede from golden form. In the mean time hold S for Sorbet's Ray Gun at spending one extra bar.
