These are fun little boats and a good cheaper alternative to the Pro Boat Jet Jam, mine didnt have any range issues but took on a bit of water... great review and comparison Saul 😎👍🇦🇺

Yeah the Flytech in my opinion is easily the better option mainly because of cost, I didn't expect it to be faster than the Jetjam though so that was a pleasant surprise.
Brushless should be fun😅

Good video. That Flytech one was noticeably faster stock. Of course you are going to makevit way overpowered. It wouldn't be you if you didn't. LOL
Yes it was quite noticeable, I didn't realise the JetJam was so slow actually😴

Great vid.
I said previously i had two of these waiting to try. Coincidentally my son and i tried ours on the weekend and had a blast.
Great boat for him and his friends to bash around, no prop to break, and great value.
Also, i didn't have any of the signal issues you seemed to have. At one stage i went almost 100m away from the water and i could still control it perfectly, almost further than i could see it clearly from.
I'm trying to resist doing a brushless conversion, as they are simple and fun the way they are. Definitely great if you have more than one and you can chase, and jump over each other.

I'm not sure why we were getting bad signal loss, both boats, but it was better on one side of the rocks than the other🤔
I will make one brushless but they are awesome as they are.

It was funny, my son, 8yo, put his in the water first while I was getting my batteries in, and it was so slow.. i was like, oh what a piece of junk, this thing is getting brushless for sure! I was so disappointed and i hadn't even tried mine yet..
But then he found the speed button 😂

Just found your video. In a comment below you said you are going to try the V009 with a 3S Lipo. Did you? I would like to know if it will run on my 2S, 2000Mah, 35C with an XT60H-F connector? I have the boat on order.
Yes I did try both Flytech and Proboat versions on 3s, they both kept cutting out above like 50-60% throttle so no they can not run 3s.
Your 2000mah 2s should be perfect though👌
You will need to change the connector on the boat to XT60 or get a adapter as the boat comes with a different connector.

Ordered 2 jet jams… both broken from the factory…
Went to order a 3rd and they would only give a refund…
