    Oh my god that setup is mind blowing!! I love the PTZ for the cameras (with activetrack). That is incredible that you can still operate everything remotely too. How did you learn to do all of this?

  • @Apple_Ryan

    just a quick question @A2Z Productions is it not easier to run vmix on teams or zoom or even skype with NDI than running everything hardware based with multiple laptops running single laptops with 1 caller at a time and pulling that into the hardware and just streaming with hardware. it feels like i have had more success with vmix and NDI than running hardware only?maybe you have an easier and better way but just want to hear your opinion on this and what the benefits are to running hardware only?

    • @A2ZProductions
      @A2ZProductions  Před 2 lety +1

      The short answer is yes. Less cables and hardware and components is likely a lot easier. However it’s not necessarily more reliable, flexible, or as low latency as more hardware based solutions. That’s why we run with a lot of hardware. Least amount of risk of freezing, or delays, or all crashing because the CPU or GPU couldn’t handle a specific or number of tasks at a single time. Also helps with having multiple people run a system with different skills and responsibilities at each station vs having one person responsible for everything. It’s a lot to handle for one person sometimes. We are all about backups and prioritizing the success of the show no matter what happens or is thrown at us over everything else.

    Nice job! I'm from belgium I like the way you're doing your job. A question : Why do you 'name' a Zoom call a Zoom 'drone'? Just a word, but it's disturbing me..🙂Have fun and Happy New Year! happy 22!

    • @A2ZProductions
      @A2ZProductions  Před 2 lety +1

      A zoom drone is simply a computer that is joined onto a zoom call but it can be used for other platforms as well in similar ways or used for just graphics, playbacks, powerpoints, control, etc. mostly used for zoom and identifies a piece of hardware. That’s one reason we call it zoom drones and not zoom calls. Identifying the hardware and use, not the software directly.

    This is a very cool setup, this is something i have envisioned to do, and I am very certain i can make it similar to this....the control is spot on. What i love is the screen and its versatility....and the PTZ Ronin Blackmagic with Auto track....
    All displays are fully routable thru the 40x40 ? and then switched via the constellation 8K, my question is would this be doable with 1 extreme iso as the switcher...i don't have 8K money lol...
    this is excluding the iso for recording as well....cuz that has always been my plan for recording...

    • @A2ZProductions
      @A2ZProductions  Před 2 lety

      Yes All screens are routable through the 40x40. Pretty much all output signals go to 40x40 first and then to their destination display.

    • @A2ZProductions
      @A2ZProductions  Před 2 lety

      You could use an atem mini extreme as your switcher but you will soon become very limited in number of video inputs you can use at a single time or number over extra features like two super sources (one for video wall and one for live stream) or overlays, Media players. etc

    • @serchenmorris1979
      @serchenmorris1979 Před 2 lety

      Aha...I see...would have to 2 use possibly 2-3 extremes *sigh* in tandem to really get the true power similar to the 8K
