The actress playing Lucy is Rachel Zegler. She Played Maria in the West Side Story remake And she is playing Snow White in Disneys live action adaptation next year.
I have no knowledge of this story or read the books what looked it up It takes place 64 years before the original Hunger Games movie. This will be about the 10th Hunger Games I wonder what the first Hunger Games was like?
I'm skeptical about this.. I read the book, and it was violent like all the others, of course they have to down that down to keep a PG 13 rating, the only thing that I don't like is that they make one of the most eviliest villians in Novel history, into a victim of circumstances and I just rather have villians be villians rather a sad backstory
(Spoilers here) I read the book and I didn’t get the vibe they were making him a victim of circumstance? We see Tigris who grew up in the same environment as him and had to sacrifice a lot more to get their family by, yet she remained a good person. It was more to give perspective on Snows motivations and his urge to have order and control. He lived in fear during the first war, and had a deep buried hatred for the districts as he lost his father and lost his promised fortune. From the age of 8 he had learned how to lie to people to hide his family’s poverty, and how to manipulate those around him to make himself appear in the best light. Most of the time he did good acts was out of selfish reasons. The only reason he was so keen to help Lucy Gray Baird and to show off is because he needed to her to win. If he didn’t he wouldn’t be able to go to university and everyone would find out he was completely broke. From the perspective of those around him, it appeared he was simply a hard worker and wanted to make the games more successful, but it all stemmed from him wanting personal gain. He craved power and status; because he’d been denied it all his childhood, and after the events of the prequel he came to the conclusion that in order to prevent a real war and ensure the survival and progression of the capitol, the districts must be permanently subdued so that they would never consider trying to take power back from the capitol again.
@@davidfairweather3301 That's actually very true. I still feel like he have some humanity in him, and he felt really bad when they killed his friend and love Lucy up until the end. And since you read the book, we know that the real villain is Dr. Gaul, who she really the one who corrupted Snow for going inside his head about her Joker like perspective of humanity.
@@dvarrio8680 oh hell yeh Dr Gaul is bat shit insane. However I think she rightly saw the evil within snow and wanted to harness it for her own agenda. I don’t think she made him a bad person, but more steered him in that direction. I don’t actually think he felt that bad when his “friend” was killed. It was his fault it happened, of course he didn’t know it would end with his death but he purposefully set him up, and obviously everything that happened in the epilogue, I think he was glad he was out the way.

Snow White? Her skin is fairly dark which is perfect for Lucy but Snow Whites skin is...snow white
@@cosas_de_gatos Things change.
@@sspdirect02 what? I don’t understand what you’re saying. Literally her whole character is having skin white as snow
