ABBA is the goat of pop with so many great songs. This one is in top 10 for me. ABBA has sold almost a half of billion of records all over the world (dependng on how you count), did sing in 5 different languages, was way before their time and has given many musicians inspiration to new expressions.

ABBA's "Ahha's" were a sort of signature and were in probably a dozen songs in one form or another and the harmonies were a trademark of all their songs, especially the female vocalists.
So many great golden oldie pop hits, try "Gimmee, gimmee, gimmee"

Love ABBA and their music. Songwriting and performance were top notch. This is one of my favorites. I thought it was after the two marriages had ended but the group was still together. A couple of other songs I really love by them are "Name of the Game". and another called " Eagle".

    • @tconnolly9820
      @tconnolly9820 Před rokem +1

No it wasn't after the marriages had ended.
Bjorn and Agnetha had got married in 1971 and split in 1979.
And Benny and Frida had been living together since 1971 but didn't get married until October 1978 but they separated two years later and divorced in 1981.
This song is from 1976. The Winner Takes It All from 1980 is their big autobiographical break up song and often described as ABBA's greatest song.

Hi there. Great song great reaction. ABBA is awesome. They were huge and I mean HUGE in the 70s and early 80s. They have sold over 400 million records. Only the Beatles have sold more and no one can harmonize like Agnetha and Frida. Not sure how much you know about them. They are from Sweden and 2 married couples. Agnetha (the blonde) was married to Bjorn the guitar player (They were hugging in the video) and Ani-Frid aka Frida or Annie (the auburn haired one) was married to Benny the piano player she was hugging in the video. Agnetha and Frida took turns singing lead in songs but in many they both sang together and it was known as ABBAs third voice.

    Hello Lizzie,
Your choice of music draws me 'like a moth to the flame'.
That first image of you with 'The Stuffed Animal Squad' has a calming effect on me.
I'm always grateful to hear you set up the content of the video. The 'cuteness effect' of you saying, "The Gangster Hippie Squad don't stop...buggin' '. Already made watching your video worth while.
"Knowing Me, Knowing You" by ABBA is a perfect example of the musical talent of this quartet's singing skills.
My personal favorite is "Waterloo" by ABBA.
Thank you Lizzie, for bringing peace and serenity by posting this reaction video.

I'm so glad to see you for frist time, with your first reaction to ABBA songs
    "Knowing me knowing you" (1976)
is one of ABBA's most famous heartthrob songs
The lyrics are strong and raw
(some say there is a preview of the couple conflicts between the blonde singer Agnetha & guitarist Björn)
And it has a powerful chorus on Agnetha & Frida, and a nice melody
These is an excellent official video,
it shows the four of them in separation situations, and plays with the images of the trios
The part that stands out the most
is the appearance of the image of Agnetha almost whispering
as a reflection of Frida's main voice
    "Knowing me knowing you"
was five weeks in a row at #1 in the UK,
and one of them coincided with the #1 of "Dancing Queen" on the Billboard.
(Just this week of April 9, 1977, 46 years ago, ABBA was #1 in the U.S. and U.K.
with two different songs from the same album)
    "Knowing me knowing you"
is one of their hits that ABBA recorded in spanish at 1980,
    with the tittle: "Conociéndome, Conociéndote",
part of their album in spanish language
    "Gracias por la música" (1980)
ABBA recorded in spanish after the colossal success of "Chiquitita" (1979)
    in Latin American countries
    For a new suggestion,
the first heartbroken ABBA song that was worldwide hit: "S.O.S." (1975)
the second worldwide hit to ABBA since their victory at Eurovision with "Waterloo"
I hope to see you in next reaction to ABBA
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
    South América

Hi Lizzie 👍🏻 thats awsome that you have many good ABBA songs to listening to..🌍👍🏻. And as i can read on you so are you a real music fan.👍🏻🎺🎷ABBA is a Swedish band from 1973 and they have been famous over the world just because they sing about life things and songs about divorce just because members in the band have divorce in real life 🌍 the name ABBA coming from the first letter in the members name as Agnetha singer blond girl ..Björn guitarist singer..Benny piano.. Anni-frid singer dark hair ..And this ABBA made so many good songs in the 70s but they quite play because of a Divorce between Agnetha and Bjorn as some of the songs is realate to😢 like "The winner takes it all" a very famous sad song they split as a band 1982 and believe it or not they started again 40 year later 2022 and just pumping out good music again unbelievable comeback❤😮 the world never Stop listening on ABBA ther music stay in peoples home from 1982 so when they start the band again it was very very welcoming to all people in the world 🌍👍🏻🇸🇪 THX Lizzie for a good reaction on ABBA 🇸🇪❤️🇺🇲❤️🇸🇪

"Knowing me knowing you" was recorded in 1976 for the album Arrival

To a false definition, which contrasts with facts, you respond with a vagueness that is also wrong.
At the time of the recording (March 1976)
neither ABBA nor their partners were suffering from stress.
if so, one couple would not have had another child and the other couple would have married.
They would have always had problems, like any other couple.
The major conflicts that led to their divorces came well after the tours and the movie, only in 1978, not here.
It is more likely that the lyrics of the song are based more on Frida and Benny's experiences in their previous couples to ABBA (each had a previous couple with two children).
I am not going to answer anymore. You do what you want.
But it is wrong to say anything without foundation and without facts

@@nonearlylove Frida and Benny weren't even married when the song came out. The song is from 1976 and they married in 1978. So you can't tell that their marriage was stressed when they married only two years later.
