Had to solo over this track and made an embarrassment of myself, so Iâm practicing until I get it right
A backing track with live instruments, it really feels like music as opposed to playing with a midi track. Thanks so much.
Perfect way to describe it. Was wondering what made this channel so special.
Perfect
Merci merci !!!
Trop cool ! Merci pour ton message !!
@@guitareimprovisation Would it be ok to use it for a YT jam and give credit? Or is there a way to buy the backing track? Thank you!
excellente! Merci beaucoup. Salutations depuis l'Argentine
What the fuck are you saying
The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sun-burned hands I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling

Dana Msc I believe that is in eb

đâšâšâš one of my favorite songs
cool. tnx
Thanks for this.
Fairly new to Jazz but I'm practicing soloing over this using arpeggios, playing around the chord extension shapes, pentatonic scales, and licks of course...
Would be interested to know how other people approach soloing over these chord progressions?
Well...Great question bro !
I start with the Theme to get my feet around my harp and then, i basically try some licks and arpegios on the minor natural scalle (Gm) The things is i recon we can go as far as we want from the "key" as long as we end up on the note that match the chords, yeah i know its a blank statement, but this is kind of how I approach it đEnjoy practicing !
Awh yeah and i also try to do less note that i would naurally go to (giving the silent note the place it deserves i guess) but this turned out to be the hardest part for me actually...

Muito bom, estou transcrevendo esse baixo walkingbass.đđ
mt bom, mas tenta transcrever os do Bill Evans trio ou do Chet Baker tbm, ambas versÔes mt boas de autumn leaves
Any chance you can provide the actual chord voicings you are using?
They sound great...!
work it out
Avez vous un tab s'il vous plait?
du tete de le chanson?
Non désolé, je ne peux pas la fournir pour des raisons de droits d'auteurs :-(
c'est dommage. Merci bien en tout cas.
2x speed gives you an insanely fun backing track
It does!
@@left_eyebr0w Absolument!
what chord is on 0:10?
F79 #5
I hear F13 then F7sus2
the other is b major flat
What means that strange O in the A chords?
It means half diminished which means it has the 3rd and 7th and the fifth diminished. It term of notes it means A C Eb G.
It is different from A° Which is fully diminished A C Eb Gb (the 5th and 7th are diminished) Hope it helped.
A minor 7 flat 5 or A half-diminished
A0?
A semi diminished A C Eb G
how do you play that on what scales?
Trans jazz musicians unite :) With major 2-5-1s, staying on the tonic major is a good idea, the fourt measure goes up to the subdominant so the key remains. On the next three bars there is a minor 2-5-1, with phrigian, the tonics harmonic minor and then dorian works quite well although the augmented second should be avoided. The rest follows the same principles with the chromatic part being something to fill with chord notes and passing notes
@@emmaselmeci966 so much to learn lol thanks :)
Make phrases with the arpeggio notes or the key center. In general, you have to do more than play 1 scale in jazz.

What is that 'crossed over' O after the A?
Half-diminished chord.
This is the worst... notice how the percentages mean repeat but often have new chords within them!
It's jazz comping, variations but within the same chord. Go check some tutorials about jazz comping and jazz chords notation and embellishments if you're interested.
@@guitareimprovisation LOL
@@guitareimprovisation You just asked me to go check out jazz chord notations? When I just said you didn't notate your jazz chords you used?
Dude, you're making an ass of yourself. That is how jazz comping works. The chord is basically the same, but you play around with different voicings, extensions and substitutions. This is all good stuff.
