    • @Alice-xy3fi
      @Alice-xy3fi Před 23 dny +1

@@robinpesek3657 That's what I've been thinking, too, most of all about the ones like Chennedy's and the most recent one, both v. Clark. Neither was a defensive move-- Clark didn't have the ball and wasn't in action-- e.g., she wasn't about to pass, shoot, or try to get into position on the court. Just simple assault coming from emotions having nothing to do with making any kind of offensive or defensive move. Ugh.
That said, yesterday I saw a compilation of clips of Clark doing some really aggressive fouls that weren't called. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, as I have the players who fouled her, and go back to see if her aggression was an immediate response to something that had just been done to her, or if she was the initial aggressor.
If so, their not being called was a travesty, and the only reason I wouldn't put what I saw her do in the clips in the same category as the things we're calling assault, is that she was, in every case, committing them in the course of active offense or defense, rather than just walking over to someone and crashing into them out of nowhere.

Agreed. DT is one of the women who has carried the WNBA on her back for 20 years and, even at age 42, she is still a pretty damn good player. Potshots at her from no nothing critics like this guy and so many others with their overheated CZcams channels with the click bait headlines is not exactly classy. And by the way, this guy did indeed disrespect DT. Maybe the Phoenix management knows a bit more about basketball than so called "experts" like this guy, what their team needs and what DT still brings to the table.

DT time has come and gone. She needs to leave the sport now and leave it for the younger ones to come on and take it. DT was a good basketball player when she was younger, but she’s older and she is not performing like these younger people can. It is time for her to step aside and let these new ones come and take over and out gracefully.

Reese is a good rebounder, however we look at it, but that is all. She does score a few points, but, anybody who watches them play and knows basketball knows Reese doesn't even come close to Clark, over all. Just compare all stats. It's as easy as that. Taurasi was a great in her day, but that day is over, except for once in a while she looks pretty good. I am already old, so I can empathize with her on that. It's not fun, at all, actually pretty saddening, to not be able to do what you have loved to do, all your life, before.

Caitlin Clarke is for basketball what Lionel Messi is for soccer! Diana Taurasi instead, is nothing short than a overrated declining star who snagged a cheap gold medal in Paris as a bench warmer instead of passing the torch to a more than talented rookie like Caitlin Clark is. Taurasi has made a mockery of her legacy and will sadly go down in history as a petty, selfish and greedy individual. Her contribution to Team USA's Olympic victory was lower than zero while Caitlin Clark is constantly delivering on the court!

Listen I really like the way 22 is bringing people into the league that might not be watching she's a phenomenal player comparing her to Diana Taurasi right now when she's passed her prime is not fair to be honest..
There is no comparison CC has moved the needle tremendously for the WNBA they can compare her game play style to Curry but to me she's the Michael Jordan of the WNBA .. In the way she makes her teammates better and brings the league to a much higher level than it ever has been..
MJ did that and it's never been done again ..
CC is one of a kind and this historic run is something we should sit back and enjoy cause this won't ever happen again..
CC is great and only getting better that's the scary part she is still getting better every day.
Can't wait to see how she does

Cailin Clark is way better than the 2 others,
They hate CC because she is too Good in the Court, she did the talking with Actions.
and She did in one Night what that Old Citizen have done through her carrier till today.
Getting hate for being too Good
    will feel Owsome.😅

Cameron Brink is my favourite player. She's a monster defensive forward, a good three point shooter and a very good rebounder. She's developed her footwork and her range. However, Caitlin is on another level. I remember her game against Uconn and Paige Bueckers. You can see the evolution. If not for Injuries, Paige and Cameron would be more accomplished players for sure. But thank God, Caitlin is healthy. She is the face of the WNBA. She's the reason People are getting to watch the league. That's an amazing feat. Stats aside, the fact that people say : I started paying attention to the league because of you... That's something ❤❤❤

No matter how many insults, being knocked down on purpose by opposing players and she just smooths it all over. She doesn't throw the insults right back in their faces, even though no one would blame her, instead she gracefully just says its all part of the game. The more they try and knock her down and take away from her incredible basketball skills, she just winds up shining more. Stay tuff, Ms. Clark. The others will just keep making fools of themselves.

Although I am from the Philippines, I see Caitlin Clark as an MVP and ROY of WNBA. The other two players you are comparing her to are statically below her level of performance.Caitlin brings to the court great games for both her fans and basketball fans as a whole. She brings excitement with her skills in all aspect of the games. She makes her teamates look best with her playmaking. The team, her teamates, and her coach should take advantage of her presence in the team and support her to lead them to the WNBA Crown.

Good video you went with the stats. Two things that I would like to mention 1) A lot of Clarks turnovers were do her team mates not catching her passes. This could be they are not used to her passing abilities and they were not expecting it. 2) A lot of Reeces rebounds are from her rebounding her own missed shots on the basket. I aim not criticizing anybody bot these do make a difference. I believe they are all good players its just CC is a stand out. She is fun to watch,

Basketball is a TEAM sport. It’s not about the individual. The Fever has been playing as a team since Caitlin Clark joined Indiana. This is what has elevated the excitement and filled the seats. Reese would enhance her play if she works with her team not by always trying to be the star. It’s her ability to work with her team that will bring her natural talents to the front. Clark doesn’t play
their game which looks more like football than basketball. Fans want to see a game between TEAMS striving as a TEAM not a bunch of individuals doing their own thing. It’s almost a magical thing when you see a TEAM of talented individuals working seamlessly in like a ballet. That’s what creates excitement and keep the fans coming back for more. That also fills the seats which also makes it possible for higher pay for the players. So they should be thanking Caitlin for making the WNBA profitable again. They should be following her example not trying to beat her down. Helping Clark get up after an accidental knockdown will thrill the fans more than beating Clark up every chance they get. They are making Clark more popular because she plays cleanly and doesn’t get involved in all the pettiness.

I am so happy to finally hear truth around all these issues, Caitlin actually looked up to Taurasi , like an bb idol and Caitlin kept her cool about Reese and her double double at the basket dunks But Reese lacks the innovative abilities of Caitlins sportsmanship assisting fellow players with great throws , IDK I find her ability to score from mid court and be precise amazing here it is she is gifted, kind and extraordinary to watch play, clearly she loves the game and is open minded not at all arrogant, Reese lacks the humble, kind attitude and abilities to really enhance the game at the level Clark plays that is why I tuned in, its inspiring and filled with such passion and all whilst being bullied rather than appreciated, thats hard to understand since the league itself as well as the fever team are better,
