    FL sure seems nice when it is not super hot and humid and there is no hurricane.

    Welcome to Delray! I have lived here for over 20 years, and it's sure grown in that time. Still trying to maintain that 'Village by the Sea' vibe though...

    Put me down for “traditional.” I have the same feeling about boats, and definitely prefer vessels with more traditional, yachty profiles. Thanks for the interesting tour - just amazing how many ginormous homes and boats are along that waterway!

    So there is already “Great Loop Yacht Sales”
 you guys should form “Great Loop Real Estate” and focus on people that completed the loop and now want to retire near/on the water along the loop. Maybe you find them a summer home in northern Michigan and a winter home in Florida!! There must be an untapped market there - good combination of your lifetime real estate experience paired with your experience with the entire waterway.

    Traditional style. I am not in Ft Lauderdale on the ICW, but I might be interested in selling my home here in WA, with a water view and a view of Mt. Rainier.

    Silly question, who has the right of way at the bridges? I noticed you went through and there was a boat waiting in the other side

    • @MarkandMel
      @MarkandMel  Pƙed měsĂcem +1

      @pamelagrusz8137 that's not a silly question but a good one. It's really a matter of who starts going through first, we have found, and no rule that we know of about who goes first through the bridges.

      @@MarkandMel
      Who goes? This might seem awkward and stressful, but don't worry - it's really simple! When two boats are approaching each other from opposite directions of a bridge, the boat that has the right of way is the boat that has the current to their stern.

      @pamelagrusz8137 thanks for sharing this great share! Nobody ever told us this but it totally makes sense to go with the current! We continue to learn on The Loop for sure! We will share that with others and give you credit!!đŸ‘đŸ›„đŸ˜Š

    I enjoy your videos. One question I have, do you use 2 tablets with navigation apps on them?
    Thanks and fair weather.

    • @MarkandMel
      @MarkandMel  Pƙed měsĂcem

      Yes, we have two 12-inch Samsung tablets. One is always running our navigation app. Usually Navionics. We use the second tablet for a number of different things, including the "big picture" view on navionics, Windy waether app, Marine Traffic app, etc.
