    Ive a vr6 3.2 having a slow start when engine is hot would a leaky injector cause this ive a vcds im goning to check them today...thoughts?

    Hi my injection quantity is around 2.2 and it says it supposed to be around 3 to 9 what could be problem all 4 injectors are in range reading good thanks

    This type of injectors can be tested only on test bench after removal from engine.

    Hi I also have a problem I have a vw bora 1.6 16v 2003 BCB and I put vcds 12.12 or 20.4. And I give group 13 and I don't see anything in the boxes 3 empty there dc it doesn't appear to me or where can I give them to see the injectors I don't know where to find them to see if I have problems at the time that it is idling to die

    These are not injection quantity values, these numbers show the different amount of extra fuel the ecu is injecting in each cylinder to stabilize the engine. If the values are positive, it signals that the injector may be damaged or the electric signal is weak. If the values are negative, the cylinder is lacking fuel. Either injector is carbonized, or the fuel pump may be faulty. However you need to drive and log the values under engine load.
    Just to make clear. Great vid tho.

      No, these are idle stabilization values. They're only meaningful when the engine is idling, not when you're driving. Also, differences in them can have a lot more reasons than just problems with fuel supply or the injectors themselves. For ex. worn camshaft lobes or lifters (on PD engines), but carbonization of the intake ports and valves can just as much affect these.

      Gábor Bérczi hey Bro if your camshaft is worn out you will more probably receive an temporary MIL because the boost pressure is lower than expected when Engine is under heavy load. Additionally you will hear mechanical noises if a lifter is failing. But you are correct some measure values are only applying to engine idle mode. Logging a combination of common measure values under different load states still is your best and First option ;)

      Gábor Bérczi Again you are wrong ;) when your cam shaft is worn out the valves may Not Open enough or may Open too late which will result in an poorer exhaust mass hence your boost pressure may be lower than expected.

    The CAN protocol is unavailable to me, I only have UDS, so the "Meas_Block" option is also unavailable. I do not understand. I have a VAG of 18.9 and the car is a Passat b7 (2011 year)

      Box Box newer vehicles use UDS protocol and the classis measuring blocks is unavailable. However, you can go to advanced measuring values, which is same thing basically.

      @@rokmarkovinovic8653 Yes, you are right, but it was easier for me as an amateur to see the state of the injector through the measuring blocks. Now I'm not sure how to interpret the condition of the injector ....

      Na toj verziji vcds moras na taj nacin. Kod mene u Pola je ista stvar. Ugl kad udes izbaci ti onaj malo prozor, u njemu potrazi izraze "injectio" stavis kvacicu na svaki injektor i dobijes trenutne vrjednosti u glavnom prozoru.

    I replaced my Skoda Yeti 4th fuel injector and while coding, when press the do it button, a dialogue box appears saying:
    This appears to be an uninitialised control module;
    Valid WSC/importer/equipment data may be required.
    Click Yes for vcds to use default values of 12345/123/12345
    Click No for vcds to use values currently in the module ,
    Click cancel to go back and manually edit the
    I tried both the yes and no options nothing works, engine won't start (was working perfectly before it was just a bad 4th injector but was working). I primed fuel as well.
    The car engine is not starting at all now seems like the coding is messed up. Any help would be appreciated.
    (VCDS is genuine - software, and cable both)

      Mate the injector have a number on the top something like AS234SD you need to type it instead of the default 12345 that is put by default. Check how you can see the injector in VCDS and put the part number instead 12345 it's 2 min job. My car was starting when I changed the injector but it had a dash light till I coded it

      you must have a different model. I have a 2006 A8 4.2 petrol and my fuel injector group is different too. look for a group that uses that same measurement value

      @@bogdanawokenn yeah some year cars and or models don't have that option for certain computers or modules. Like I can't used the measuring blocks for the ecu but there's another way by going into advanced measuring values

    I can’t access mess. Blocks… it is dimmed out and so is readiness and coding II !! When I click on them I get message - error function not available-2015 Passat 2.0TDI 6mt

      @@roostaraver no dude 🥺 Yesterday I installed new cam sensor new air flow sensor and my car is still not performing 😭 today I got a new ambient temp sensor because it is cooler day and I have my suspicions… but yeah idk gauge on cluster seem accurate so I’m just throwing on money on it for no good reason lol 😂 will refresh computer after I get that replaced 😳 I think computer may be locked with current software so after I unlock it everything will become visible… to do that you just flash computer with new complete file - get it from Alientech.. I can’t even remember what it was called but each computer has its own file to be flashed in unlocked and restored to default…. Best do it in bits from my experience or use genuine tool

      @@roostaraver that’s why I’m replacing sensors in attempt of finding dummy one.. right now o purchased ambient temperature sensor …… I thought it was located only in air flow sensor but I guess there are more of them on car

      Anything between +-2.8 is okay (warm engine, no ac, radio etc)

    Witaj Chris. Skoro już tak pracujesz na takim silniku. Mam zapytanie. Auto nie chce odpalać za bardzo na zimnym ale już na cieplym jeszcze gorzej. Krurki dystans pomiędzy odpaleniem nie ma problemu. Świeżo wymieniony Rozrusznik. Liczyłem ze coś to zmieni. Ale nie bardzo. Jakieś podpowiedzi? BAU Allroad 2.5tdi c5
