Another gospel: Carlton began to preach a Universal Redemptive Doctrine of inclusion. A view which holds that all will be saved regardless of their commitment to Jesus Christ. Preaching, teaching another gospel: "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ," (Galatians 1:6,7). Paul is speaking to those who are listening to false teachings, heresy and questioning why are they so easily deceived into hearing another gospel that they have not preached by the Holy Ghost. We are to preach/teach His gospel. God exalts His Word above His name, "...praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name," (Psalms 138:2). God and His Word is immutable. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. He changes not. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth...," (Romans 1:16). The Church should be correcting false prophets and false teaching; blasphemy. Salvation: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me," (John 14:6). "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved," (Romans 10:13). "Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by Him doth this man stand here before you whole.... Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, " (Acts 4:10 - 12). God is Holy. God will not dwell in the midst of what He came to die for; Sin.
