To the 'hard of thinking' who keep saying ''Well Ange must be leaving Celtic for Spurs because he hasn't said yet he's staying at Celtic next season'' ......Here's an explanation of how it all works 👇👇👇👇👇
''Arne Slot, who ruled himself out of the running to take over at Tottenham, has signed a new contract at Feyenoord.
"I'm not done here yet," Slot said after the announcement of his new deal, which runs to 2026.
"We have had a wonderful season with Feyenoord, with the championship as a wonderful reward for all the hard work that has been put in, but I really want to continue building.
"After the summer, an adventure awaits in the Champions League and there is a national title to defend. Enough to look forward to, so I am proud to be and remain Feyenoord's trainer in Rotterdam."
Spurs were determined to get Slot after he secured the Eredivisie title with Feyenoord this season.
Tottenham have always stressed they had no conversations directly with Slot or Feyenoord, and never comment publicly on employees of other football clubs.
Sky Sports News have also been told that Spurs' bosses feel Slot used their interest in him to get an improved contract in the Netherlands.''
👉👉Do you now understand how it works ???

Ange is actually playing a very wise game by not yet saying for sure that he'll stay at Celtic next season. And think about it, the real reason is, it helps give him an extra lift in how much money Celtic can allow him to buy new players with for next season , especially for the Champs league. So it makes sense that he now sits around the table with Celtic's bosses and makes a new deal on how much they can support him moving forward. He can give them the hint that if they refuse to support him with enough funds etc, that he has offers from other clubs. He's playing a very smart game and I do believe he has the fans of Celtic in his thoughts and wants to see proper progress in Europe and that will need some injection of money for at least a few new top notch players.

@@nooldfirm2904 lol, I'm not the one here with my head in the sand. You clearly don't understand how Ange operates. You also clearly don't understand how the 'gutter press' in the UK likes to operate too. They make lots of money by creating edgy, dramatic headlines and carefully slip in words like 'could' , because they themselves have feck all real knowledge of what's in Ange's head. The massive amounts of free money The Sun (or The Scum as the good folk of Liverpool correctly call it , due to it's horrendous lies and attempted smears against their fans after the Hillsborough disaster in 89) has made alone with their fake drama headline last week , claiming Ange and Spurs is a done deal, shows how gullible people are. The whole of the Sevco fan base have been droooling over that headline now for several days , and every time they even click on the online webpage of the Scum (Sun) they are generating more money for it's corrupt billionaire , tax avoiding owners. The Scum (Sun) has indeed 'played them all like a fiddle' and any weakminded non Sevco fans too. These gutter press rags exist to create false narratives, to dupe people and to try and manipulate people and situations. It's what they thrive on. And fair play to Ange , because he knows it, He fully knows how these gutter press rags operate, and that's why he goives the answers he gives when he's interviewed.

Ange would be insane to leave now....especially for a complete basket case club like Spurs. He only need listen to the warnings Conte gave in what was his leaving speech a couple of months ago. Ange should stick around and continue his project at Celtic and test the ground in the Champs league again. Spurs don't even have any European football to look forward to and unless they get in the top 4 of the English Premiership this coming season , whomever is manager will be sacked yet again. (and they have zero chance of Top 4 as Man City , Arsenal , Liverpool, Man U and Newcastle are now all too far ahead....it would actually take several years of a full rebuild for Spurs to even have a chance of English Prem Top 4 slots, and the current ownership and Spurs fans simply won't have the patience for a complete rebuild like that to happen, hence it's pretty much a viscous circle they are in.(getting new managers in, but not giving them the time of several seasons to build a proper team with players who gel with each other , and hence sacking those new managers after the team fails to show progress against the English top 4 or 5 clubs) Very much like Chelsea, whom despite pumping billions into buying new top class players, can't get players whom will play properly as a 'team'.. The only real cure for Spurs would be complete new ownership and that is not likely to happen at all, at least for a good number of years)

Personally I want Ange to be unsuccessful if he leaves us. He said he had a plan for taking this club forward. Chipping away and progressing each year in the UCL and he convinced us that he would be building a team of players, staff and introducing us to the world that haven't been a part of the same business. But he's really only used celtic to aim for success in recognition for himself. He's never a long-term connected person that gets emotionally involved in any club, he's about chasing notorious egotistical power of position within his everyday life. His family are a close 2nd to his observations in life.
He could have been remembered as a legendary figure at Celtic but he's only ever going to be remembered for his short time achievements and failures.

@stevey - He cant say a simple yes or no becuse he probably hasnt even got a firm offer. Negotiation 101.... He needs to play his cards close because it is not just as simple as accepting a wad of cash and signing on the dotted line. The money isnt the priority. He needs control of what he would go to and have his heart in it.., so assuming that he or his management haven't settled any or all of the terms at this point, all he can say is nothing. There are obviously a lot of moving parts to a managerial contract. Up to today, he's been all in for Celtic. Tomorrow, he can now look forward and think about his future. That doesn't matter. They are good Champions League clubs. Even if Celtic did well in the Champions League by coming third in its group, it would only get to play four games in total against two good Champions League clubs. Plus, I'd bet Ange thinks he could snag 4th spot in the EPL next season and qualify for the Champions League. There is probably no automatic entry into the Champions League after next season for Celtic. All in all, I still think Ange would be mad to turn down a chance of a lifetime by not going to Tottenham. After all, as soon as it looked like he was going to be offered the Celtic job even when Celtic were in total disarray, he immediately said, "I'm in." There is one thing Ange isn't afraid of and it is a challenge.

17:05 - Maybe it genuinely isn't a Yes/No situation for him at the moment.
It could be that Spurs are interested in him and he's interested in going (he'd be insane if he had absolutely ZERO interest in managing a big EPL club) but Spurs are also looking at other candidates.
Maybe he's not Spurs current No1 target? Or maybe he is but there's a few things he wants to iron out before taking the job and if they're not ironed out then he'll just stay at Celtic.... Who knows??? The point is that there could well be very genuine reasons for him giving us a non-answer at this stage.
The only thing I'd say is, It's now 9 weeks until our first competitive game of next season. So whilst it's not currently a matter of urgency, we do need to put some sort of deadline on this and find out one way or another, who our 1st team coach is going to be heading in to the 2023/24 season.
    If it's Ange - Great
If it isn't Ange - Thanks for the memories and we move on

Does he stick about to repeat the same? or move to a new beginning to start over in an attempt to challenge himself again?

Time will tell, but his youngest kids are at an age where getting stability for schooling is important. Moreover, one doubts an Aussie would want their kids speaking with a Scottish accent (no offence)😝. I'm pretty sure part of the decision for Ange leaving Japan was to sure they didn't develop an American accent in an International school😵‍💫. Below is a reminder of the toxic, vipers nest that any new manager at Spurs can expect.
With Levy there, it's a complete 'basket case' of a club........Ange should avoid it like the plague :
Managers At Spurs While Levy Has Been There :
''The first manager appointed with Levy at the helm was Glenn Hoddle in 2001. Hoddle however was sacked following a poor start to the 2003-04 season in September 2003. He was followed in quick succession by Jacques Santini and Martin Jol.[26] Jol had some success moving Tottenham out of the mid-table position, but was dismissed in the 2007-08 season after the team had only won one out of the first ten games.[27]
Juande Ramos succeeded as head coach in 2008. He delivered the League Cup, the first (and to date, only) trophy under Levy's stewardship and the club's first in nine years, but Levy made the decision to replace him with Harry Redknapp on 25 October 2008 after Ramos made the worst start to a league campaign in the club's history during the 2008-09 season.[28] Redknapp guided Spurs to a top-four finish in the 2009-10 season, winning an entry into the qualification round of the UEFA Champions League for the first time. Tottenham reached the knockout stage of the 2010-11 Champions League but lost there to Real Madrid 0-5 on aggregate. The club finished fifth in the Premier League in the 2010-11 season, missing out on Champions League qualification but securing a place in the Europa League.[29] On 13 June 2012, Redknapp was relieved of his duties after failing to agree terms for a new deal.[30]
On 3 July, Levy appointed former Chelsea and Porto boss Andre Villas-Boas as the team's new head coach.[31] Following some poor results in the first half of the 2013-14 season, including a 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool, Levy sacked Villas-Boas on 16 December 2013.[32] Head of Football Development and former player Tim Sherwood was subsequently announced as head coach, but he also left at the end of the season.[33]
On 27 May 2014, Levy appointed former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino as head coach.[34] The team reached the League Cup final in Pochettino's first season in charge, which also saw a number of the club's academy players step up to establish themselves in the first team, including Harry Kane, Ryan Mason, Nabil Bentaleb and Andros Townsend. Pochettino's team qualified for Europe with a fifth-place finish in 2014-15 before challenging for the Premier League title in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons with a squad with the youngest average age in the league.[35] In the latter season, Tottenham finished as runners-up in the league, making it their highest league position since the 1962-63 season under Bill Nicholson.[36] The team have been ranked among the top 4 since the 2015-16 season, allowing them to qualify for and participate in the Champions League since 2016-17. Tottenham reached the European Cup final for the first time in 2018-19, losing to Liverpool 0-2.[37]
On 19 November 2019, Pochettino was sacked, being replaced the following day by José Mourinho.[38] However, after only 17 months in charge, Mourinho was relieved of his duties on 19 April 2021 after a spate of losses and a disappointing second half of the 2020-21 season.[39] Former player Ryan Mason served as an interim manager for the rest of the season, losing to Manchester City in the 2021 League Cup final 0-1.
On 30 June 2021, Levy appointed Nuno Espírito Santo as the head coach on a two-year deal.[40] Nuno was sacked on 1 November 2021 following a run of poor results which saw Tottenham lose four out of six previous Premier League games.[41] On 2 November 2021, Levy appointed Antonio Conte as the new head coach on an 18-month deal, with an option to extend further.[42] The team's form improved under Conte and resulted in Tottenham qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.[43] However, he was sacked in March 2023 following a run of poor results and Champions League elimination at the hands of Milan.[44] Conte's assistant, Cristian Stellini, was appointed as interim manager with the intention of finishing the season, but was sacked himself following a 6-1 defeat to Newcastle. Ryan Mason returned in his stead. ''

Now when I here the name Hamish, I think of a clown. Albeit a Celtic loving clown! 🎉

The fact that the others offered the position have all come out in the media world and turned the job down and Ange hasn't got into any detailed discussion and used the Scottish Cup ad his only focus tells us that he has already been in negotiations with Tottenham and he'll probably be gone by the end of next week. Feel disgusted that he isn't going to work toward celtic developing year after year in the UCL, bullshitter.
