Dario Franchitti MBE kicked off the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed for GMA in Rocket, a car that took part in the very first FOS 30-years ago. It was early. It was wet. But Dario was a happy man...before, during and after the run!

There are very few people who have a life of which I'm jealous, but Mr Franchitti is definitely on the list.

The problem with G. Murray is that he doesn't like many people enjoying his creations. Instead of giving the pleasure to more people he prefers to do a limited number of his toys to make them more "exclusive".
It sold less than 50 because ir cost over 35k in 1992. Not totally unaffordable...
If you're looking to buy one of these in 2023 why not go knocking on Ariel's door? Granted the Atom is a couple of hundred kilos heavier but you twice the engine capacity, twice the power and it's not far off the same footprint (wheelprint?) on the road.

Gordon should remake this car with either the new r1 crossplane crank. Or with a KTM 1390 engine and the body should look like a 1968 f1 car. With today's f1 Halo
After 2 months without any video, i was seriously expecting about T50, T33 or even T50S. But, no. This.
Poor Dario - camera stuck in his face everywhere he goes. He's one of Gordons boys testing fancy toys everywhere he goes.
It's just me or I dont get it why this is an interesting car...maybe just because it has Gordon Murray behind...
Sure; it's the FIRST car he designed and still running, in perfect condition. Gordon drives it regularly...
It was built to out chapman Colin Chapman. It has a unique cockpit set up for a road car, unique driving experience, and a whole host of great people behind the project.
