Does the portafilter get heated from the brew group, asking because I have see in some CZcams videos that there are a warning triangle over where you fit the portafilter?

Not directly, but before you pull a shot you can turn it on for few secs with portafilter installed. Let around 30-50 ml of water through empty portafilter into the serving cup. That way you heat up the group, cup and portafilter for a better shot of espresso.

Irina Hourt , I’ve never descaled this machine in 5 years as we have water softeners. I used to use white vinegar, diluted to 50/50. Make a litre, then use 200ml, rest it for a few minutes. Then repeat. Then do the same again with just water.

      Thanks of course ...
but how much time is needed between the fluid outlet? With coffee and with a cappuccino machine?
      They can't take a long time !!

Irina Hourt Usually about 5 minutes, do the same with the milk frother; just use it as normal, and leave it for 5 mins for fresh solution to clean it. Same when you pass fresh water through afterwards. (We ended up getting Harveys water softeners installed one the house)

      Hi))
That's how I see it !!!! I fill in 50/50 cleaning fluids and turn on the machine) I skip to the place where the coffee is poured. I skip 1 minute, pause for 5 minutes, again 1 minute, pause for 5 minutes.
And so 3 times. Then I switch to the cappuccino machine and do the same ??
      When the water runs out
Is that all ?? or not ??

Either there is too much coffee in the holder, or the seal is gone. Maybe serious descale needed if you’ve not done it. You can buy replacements, just unplug, take the water reservoir out and unscrew the filter with a cross-head (Philips) screwdriver. My machine has finally gone, now have a Gaggia Classic .
