- I did this for a school project. Lyrics and vocals are by the incredible Malukah. Some backing tracks are taken from Mass Effect 3. I own nothing.

Very rarely does a song effect me emotionally... but something about this womans voice man.... it grabs ahold of something inside of me and pulls and almost brings me to tears. Its simply beautiful
Devin Burns same. Never played mass effect even. I’m an elder scrolls die hard. But this is one of my favs. Its not just the gamer appeal. It’s genuine talent.

Malukah has a very beautiful voice and everything she does is just beautiful, in my opinion, she deserves nothing but praise.
I've struggled with depression and anxiety for the last few years. It was only in the last two that I actually began seeking and receiving help for my conditions. Last year was particularly stressful with moving out of my dad's house and moving in with a friend for the first time in my life. My moods were always up and down, I was being put under a lot of stress from being ordered to look for work despite my mental health, and I met a lot of roadblocks and obstacles that would leave me feeling absolutely crushed.
Last night I was at my friends' house for their New Year's Eve party, and last year she lost her mother. She told me to check out this song before we left, as it was the song that gave her the strength to keep going. She even has the chorus tattoo'd on her arm.
And I'm not ashamed to admit I was moved to tears. This is exactly what I needed to hear. It's not often a song makes me feel so humbled.

It is not a love song. Yet there is so much love and corauge pouring out from every note. Every time i'm listening to it i have to think about the loved ones. The ones left and the ones lost. It helps my carry on through times of fear, hate and spite. It has been years now and i'm still here and i will be.

Anyone who has ever struggled can feel the inspiration behind the phrase "crush my heart into embers and I will reignite" and Malukah's voice lends the strength and emotion of the song very well.

I've played and finished all 4 Mass Effect games. It was hard to say goodbye to Shepherd after everything that's happened. Glad we get a new protagonist
i hate how only the remixed version of this is on itunes. this is so beautiful, and i cant stand the other one because of HOW BEAUTIFUL this is!
I like that lyrics are pretty clean-looking and creative but still quite readable. :) Of course timings could be more precise and maybe some more animations... but all in all NICE!

I think the orange is just fine. It represents the "in-between" zone of those parts.
Every time I hear this I just think of the reapers landing and the last of the galaxy fighting as harbinger taunts them as shepherd kicks ass with his crew :3

When I first heard this song, i thought of xcom 2. Anybody else or just me.
Not surprising, given both games are about humans vowing to retake Earth from an occupying alien force against overwhelming odds.
except in Mass Effect, you have aliens help humans take back earth from a race of alien machines.
Really nice done,but multycolor lyrics may be more emotional - burning red for 'hell' or black words on white where words of hope.

The End of Her Just some of the phrases and lyric choices in the song that remind me of Ciel. For example, 'But united we can break' when he makes his contract with Sebastian. and 'I will reignite' when Ciel forces himself to be stronger, to fight back and not give up, etc. ;3

Its a Mass Effect releated song, its about Humanity and the allied alien races standing up to fight off an ancient hyperadvance synthetic race called the Reapers; who at the end of each cycle harvest all advanced organic life to build new reapers.

when she says about lost souls I thought of those how were lost in the suicidal mission in 2 plus SPOILERS Legion Samara Miranda Thane and Anderson there deaths helped me finish the last little bit of the game no matter how bad it was and it was for Legion that I chose synthesis as the end.
