Been using sysmmc cfw online for over two years already and no ban. Just make sure you install all your pirated games on the emummc and you’ll never get banned. I’ve even cheated on Mario kart 8 but made the mistake of getting the top times on Time trials thinking nothing won’t happen and I only got banned from the game servers but my switch still goes online no problem(this was last year).

For the DS games, there's a special switch dock you can buy (3rd party) that holds the switch sideways and has slots for the joycons to attach. It's called the FlipGrip

SysNAND CFW literally never has a ban risk. Even back in 2018, when Switch CFW was first released, NO ONE got a console ban solely for using CFW online. You *ONLY* get banned if you try to play pirated games online or use cheats in online games; I can not emphasize that enough. I'm really tired of this misinformation being spread around by CZcamsrs.

Cool video, I have a modchipped oled as well and I have been into it since the V1 so I know almost everything but I really liked what you did here. You could add Mission Control to show how to use any bluetooth controller as well.
I totally recommend getting a DSi XL. Mine is 14 years old and still working. The construction quality feels better than the n3ds idk why lol. Pretty cheap and capable devices, obviously one of the best choices for ds games. It's just a unfortunate it took soooo long for the homebrew community to mod it without an r4. I tend to think that maybe it would've been more popular if it was modded earlier but also 3ds was released in 2011 so... I like the way you communicate. Subbed.

Im 18 and learned to solder at around 16-17 and I’m currently trying to mod chip an oled. Currently it’s going well but I fucked up the data 0 cable that goes under the nand chip. So I’m waiting for replacements. If you’re diy this I definitely recommend to get replacements

Yesterday I saw a video how to solder a mod chip on the switch and it seems not so difficult as you mentioned it. I'm going to give it a try as soon as I bought an extra Switch for this.
I got my Switch Lite modchipped in the Philippines for 50usd at that time 2023 picofly was kinda new, this year I got a V1 Patched Switch modded by the same modder for 35usd(his pricing was 35usd for v1,v2, lite and 50usd for the OLED

Great channel. I am amazed you only found one installer in LA. I chip Switches and tbh it's not that hard compared to older consoles like RGH Xboxs. The chips are made to be very installer friendly, Micro soldering isn't difficult but to be good means good tools like Microscopes and experience soldering. I might be bias as I've done this for 20 years now but I'm in the UK and it's not hard to find installers. You could just get a MigSwitch, obviously that's pure piracy enabling only but a chip is dual boot, CFW. It's not like early RGHs where you literally used schematics to make the chip etc. To an installer this is a 1 hour install so the fact someone wanted to charge you so much to install is a joke.

Modding a switch is 10x harder and I own a hacked 3ds too. As far as the 3ds games on the switch I couldn't give you an answer because I've never tried bro. But yes all the switch games run flawlessly on the switch

Yes it is called the Mig Switch but as far as I know they are no longer be produced since that guy is facing a major lawsuit rn from Nintendo because allegedly he was selling them with games already on them.
You can if you play on the original firmware, not while it’s in custom firmware. So let’s say you installed Fortnite to your CFW to play with better performance- if you go online you can get caught and your switch will get banned from accessing Nintendo’s servers forever.

Just want you to be careful out there.
Sorry about the comment on the short version of the video I did not know that the NES app and the other where not connected online while you used the mod chip, however this still look like stealing since your not paying Nintendo for the base plan. Unless you have a different Nintendo switch that is not link the Modded Nintendo switch, and you pay the online services legit with no hack with that one. So that way it should be fine.

You can homebrew a regular switch after mid 2018 without a chip but chances of nintendo banning your switch are very high
