The metal might explain how Ancient Debris was made and added!

Okay, so a lot of people have pointed out that ancient debris is not the rarest material in minecraft-which is true. This actually proves that this metal is netherite even more! Since it is not the most rarest - it actually is more like ancient debris, which is not the rarest. (Watch to the end for context.)

Great video and good theory! Hope you experience future success.
another possibility is that it's a mix of tungsten, gold and carbon
and the actual source of the carbon is your diamond gear
but why use additional diamonds when you already have some existing in your gear, right?
so here's the process for making it:
you combine the tungsten scraps and gold into an alloy, and then infuse them with your diamond tools' carbon to make a tungsten-gold carbide alloy, which would give it incredible durability and strength whilst still being somewhat flexible, not dissimilar to an undocumented theory of mine (it needs finishing up lol) for warframe's orokin gold also having incredible durability

White gold and platinum. That means palladium + platinum + gold all 3 together. Also what about the colour?
In my own searches, I concluded that netherite scraps are most like manganese

@@carlosfranco4782 yes but that makes it rare now.
@@carlosfranco4782 then why didn't piglins used up all the gold???
@@TheBeastNoob Because the gold is more abundant. Irl platinum is one of the rarest metals on the planet.
I'd say that netherite is actually titanium because the alloy of gold and titanium is extremely hard even in a 1 to 1 ratio compared to the platinum gold alloy which is in a 9 to 1 ratio platinum to gold. Also that alloy of platinum and gold is only durable because of its self lubricating properties. This would aid in cutting as more lubrication in the process is beneficial but with the relative hardness and tensile strength doesn't compare to even diamond.
Considering that agent debris, is in debris form, does that mean it was possibly already an alloy, and adding the gold was just a way to make it more malleable. Considering it's ment to be used on diamond armor and tools, so could be an addition to the diamond, and not just its own thing?

Short answer: Netherite scraps are Lonsdaleite and yes u can buy it and uh this guy can explain it: czcams.com/users/shortsS991gDqtnNE?feature=share
Hey! Heads up, netherite is actually probably a titanium-gold alloy. We don't actually know how large a netherite scrap is compared to a gold ingot, so it could weigh 3 times as much, and therefore would give us a golden ratio of 1 part gold, 3 parts titanium. Titanium-gold alloy, or netherite, is the strongest alloy we can make at this point in time with the metals we have available to us. It's dense, strong, malleable, stronger than diamonds, not just at par, and melts at leagues above the temperature lava can burn at.
Interesting. Thanks I never knew that! I thought it'd have something to do with titanium but the titanium-gold alloy didn't seem malleable to me at first.
@@THEGOOOOOSE it gains a majority of it's malleability from the gold. Titanium itself isn't flexible but is the strongest metal in the world, as it can stand the most stress tests out of all base metals. It is however, chemically weak, and is brittle. The added gold softens the titanium, and makes it less brittle, as well as making it significantly heavier (which explains the knockback reduction of netherite armor, and why you're only plating diamond gear with this stuff. It's hard and durable, but trying to lug the stuff around like a sword would be extremely impractical.)
@@derekhenninger4293 i agree, it would be impractical. So it gains a majority of its malleability from the gold... Why didnt i think that? 😂
True! Some alloys are way stronger and more resistant than their original metals, this is one of the cases and it's why it didn't get considered. I couldn't find many details about it's exact properties though.. that's a shame. Also, lava is between 600°C (1100°F) and 1400°C (2500°F) but it destroys diamond.. which melting temperature is about 4000°C (7300°F) soooo yeah.. minecraft isn't really physics friendly. And even if lava could reach that temperature I doubt that any alloy could resist to it. RIP.
@@pietrolocatelli33 yeah, lava isn't nearly as hot / metals are way more durable than people think. Also diamonds are made from carbon, which has the highest melting point out of all elements thus far on our periodic table. They can sit on the surface of the sun without melting, iirc
Dragonic:*netherite is the strongest material*
Cactus in mc:am i a joke to you?
Wait if we combine both of them they will be strongest and rarest because palladium is one of the rarest alloy and they will also heat resistance and the color will be mostly same and also the will be in scraps as they are two alloy as in the game we see that there are two scraps in one scrap and then when we will melt it and add gold and then it will be mostly black and it will be the strongest metal in the world

Based on the name ancient debris, I think it is actually organic in nature. It would make a lot of sense that netherite is platinum but with impurities of bone or scales. It would also explain the color difference of ancient debris.
yea and then the smelting process would purify the scraps by removing all these impurities
People are saying furnance can melt netherite and not lava it is maybe because the furnance is not is for kithen things it and it isint an ordinary furnace it even smelts iron for short scientists have a special furnance that can smelt platinium IN REAL LIFE and people are saying about cactus ofcourse so many dumb people.... Comparing real life cactus to minevraft cactus is the same compared to gravity and minecraft gravity ofcourse these people just have to brag about the littlest things.
That would explain the patterns on the ore too.
@@Sandrone6582 Throwing most items in lava or fire in minecraft destroys them, but I suspect the amount heat needed to smelt an ore is less than the heat needed to incenerate it. Thus it makes sense that a furnace is fire-resistant enoguh to smelt anchent debrees, but not fire-resistiant enoguh to survive a lava bath. The question then is, "why does throwing anchent debree into lava, not smelt it into neatherite scrap?"

Netherite cannot exist, not because of the netherite scraps but because of the properties of gold. A gold block in Minecraft is 1m³. Assuming purity, this would have a density of 19300 kg m⁻³.
A block of netherite has 4 times as many gold as a gold block. Ignoring the mass of netherite scraps, this would give a block of netherite a density of 77,200 kg m⁻³, or 77g cm⁻³, which over 3 times denser than Osmium, the densest material on Earth.

@@Abnv2 nah I'm saying he'll be in the nether and a ghast will reveal netherite
Bro,this happened to me one time
It is possible that ancient debris is some form of crude iron, or iron with too much carbon. It used to be carbon steel before the smoky environment of the nether corrupted it. It can be used in a furnace to remove most of the carbon, and then diamonds can be used to return the carbon (diamonds can actually be used to make carbon steel, but as you might expect, that would be a bit pricey). Carbon steel is also used as armor, and is used in rifle-grade bulletproof armor (it is heavy, like the armor that knights wear, but we all know that Steve can carry a planet or seven million and still jump higher than the average cat). Carbon steel also requires advanced tools and techniques not yet available in the game, which would explain why you can’t turn iron into netherite (who knows, diamonds might not have enough carbon to turn iron into netherite with ease).
Also alloys have different melting points than their constituent metals. For example, gold-cadmium alloy actually has a melting point of 932° Fahrenheit, not 600
Well it could be like any of those alloys but it's in the nether right so that means it's been like heated or burnt and some metals don't melt when exposed to heat they just get turned darker so I think it might be one of the Alloy but Charred and fused with some sort of energy because there is like magic and stuff and potions and the piglins could know a bit of nether energy or magic and they can make tools so maybe they found a material in game and used it to fuse into netherite and maybe it got scattered due to greed. Idk but that's my theory and I guessed that it could be platinum or palladium before u brought in among us and I also guessed the pigpen things before u brought out among us Im smart 🙃
