Perhaps the most beautiful movie I've ever seen, this song is just a fraction of this masterpiece
Nico Candela Ik
Yeah!!!! I agree with you!
You are right! It's 2021 and I am still listening to it🥰
can we talk about the absolute perfection of that pool party scene?
tropicAces yesss
tropicAces other than the last ending 10-15 minutes that's my favorite scene then the beginning
There are 2 kinds of people: People who really love this movie and appreciate every little thing about it, and people who are wrong
C'est clair !!!
Énorme ce film

true
I completely agree, I remember watching La La Land for the first time, and when that ending happened I cried, because I was used to watching Disney movies where the couples always end up together, and so I was expecting La La Land to be the same, but after watching the movie it instantly became my favorite movie of all time, and to be honest I don’t think that will ever change.
This movie deserved to win movie of the year at the Oscars
The backing chords to this song are so simple and yet so intoxicating. They make me smile and I just want to get up and dance my heart out!
this made the movie look so much better than it actually was
This movie is the extreme try not to sing challenge
This is the greatest film ever released of the decade!
This movie is at the top if not #1 on my list of favorite movies. I think it has become my soul. I cried so freaking hard. Honestly, how can you not love Emma and Ryan???
This is the perfect movie for young people - lots of movement, music, quick changes of scene, romance, wild dancing, general over the top wackiness. Perfect for young people. My favorite film is Gone With the Wind. It came out in 1939 and is still considered a great film. A clear story, romance, narrative clarity. I wonder if in 80 years La La Land will still be beloved by the young people of the year 2200! Wait and see....
La La Land is among my two favorite movie musicals of all time.
What's the second?
@@HudaMatbuliThe 1967 musical movie "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". I love the mid-century set, fashions, colors etc. And the music. And the corny funny story and acting.
Sometimes,... I could just sit and look at Emma all day...
davidpaw22 I could watch la la land all day every day
Cannot explain how this song makes me feel
Love the way it changes pace. It is uplifting and pulsating; I know what you mean.
3:00 minutes is thee best part of the song, the transition from her walking to the pool with the snow is just... beautiful. 😍
Yeah.. 😢
Everybody dances like an epileptic turkey but you can't deny that beat
This song is the best musical number in the movie.
Absolutely, it's gets your energy flowing. It must win the Oscar.
I've seen it three times and I can't wait till it is released on dvd, best movie in years.
,
Wow, love the dancing starting at 1:29! Choreographer Mandy Moore did an excellent job. And the overall video was very well executed.
1:53 The girl with the blue dress, black boots, and brown hair slips on the stairs. Way to keep going, girl!!
People who goes into this film thinking it would be like any other musical, love story, feel good movie would be totally disappointed. I love this film for its unconventionality but people who can't think outside the box won't..
agreed!
I think this is the greatest musical ever made, can't wait for the Blu-ray! 💿
I was that person. And I was totally wrong. I'm glad that I was. What a movie!!! One of the best movie I ever seen.
If anyone's wondering where most of the clips are from, look up Anna by Will Butler; it's from the music video, nothing to do with La La Land.
I'm falling in love with this film and their songs. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I love this movie and when ever I show it to a friend they always half way say it’s boring and they want to do something else and it’s really sad,
I just want someone to relate with me about la la land :(
saaaaaaaaaaame
Feel you!
Lala land is my drug of choice
Same
The movie is amazing!!
La La Land is an unforgettably beautiful cinematic masterpiece
I agree with you. La La Land is my favorite movie of all time and I remember when I went to go see it, and I thought it was just going to be another generic Oscars winning movie, but I was completely blown away and ever since I first saw it I’ve always loved it.
@@cooperwolfe5478 it's a shame that it lost
@@arnabchakraborty2593 Yeah it definitely should’ve won Best Picture. The fact that it didn’t win made me question the authenticity of the Oscars but I guess everybody makes mistakes.
I never ever get tired of the music and the movie I can watch this 100x and it's new to me every time. Ryan Gosling my man 💓💕💘💞💜🎹🎼🎶🎵🎧🎙️
This film does such a wonderful job recapturing and paying homage to the Golden Age of Hollywood Musicals. Definitely NEEDS to be seen by EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE
The White Wolf yes except that disappointing ending
Maria Rendi the ending was the best part tho
@@joeallen8139 I agree. I vividly remember the ending and even to this day whenever I watch it I cry because it’s so beautiful and It’s one of the many reasons why La La Land is my favorite movie of all time.
total respect for La La Land, this is Magic, the kind of movie that brings to us Joy and Make us belive in dreams come true.....
"oh god help us all" i love this part
At first I heard to the this entire album, I thought City of Stars is the best, but this song became my fav, upon listening for a while. How many of you agree?
agreed
If you do not like this film you are an obscure pesonne!
While watching the movie I thought it was good and really enjoyed but after several days of thinking about La La Land it is a Great movie!
I was watching on half speed, and Emma's solo is beautiful. Something sad and soothing about it
the cinematography and colors of this movie is so beautiful and pleasing to look at
One of the best movie of all time
Super sensational movie! There is nothing about this movie that you will not love. Music is awesome ~ thank you Justin Herwitz for a beautiful score. Good Luck at Oscar Night!!
Though Here's to the One and Mia and Sebastian's theme stand up pretty well against the actual nominee, City of Dreams.
ATTENTION EVERYONE: The shots of Emma Stone on a ship with some sailors are from the music video for the song Anna by Will Butler (of Arcade Fire).
Thank you for clarifying that! I was puzzled by that, but the dance number did sync in beautifully w/ the images & music. The video was filmed on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. I've stayed on that ship, so it was extra exciting for me!
Actually this music makes the ship scenes better than the original video
Thanks
I wondered "how did I miss those scenes in the movie?" until I read the comments. Thanks.
love it and should win oscar awards!
I was actually pleasantly surprised by this film, I was expecting an overrated musical. But I what I got was a brilliantly shot story about the importance of past relationships set in beautifully shot clubs, parties and streets
Exactly❤
i usually hate musicals. this is 100% the only exception
@@MelaneyDawson I completely agree, I remember watching La La Land for the first time, and when that ending happened I cried, because I was used to watching Disney movies where the couples always end up together, and so I was expecting La La Land to be the same, but after watching the movie it instantly became my favorite movie of all time, and to be honest I don’t think that will ever change.
the best musical ever I've seen in years.
I can't stop watching it!
Buuu watch it at the cinema! don't be such a rat
Wait a second...oh yeah baby! EXTRA FOOTAGE...oh i'm going to watch this DVD WAAAAAAAY too many times.
Eva Terry isn't extra footage, is part of a short called "Anna"
you arw beautifyl
that jump in the beginning is so satisfying
i've seen la la land twice and i dont recall to ever see the scene where there's emma stone on that ferry
me too. maybe its for the DVD release
you were having a seizure during that scene, dont worry youll see it in the dvd release on piratebay or solarmovie for free
Marco Tahir it's a music video with her in it
Look for "Anna Emma Stone" :)
this is best movie i have seen in years. the music great and the scenes are exciting.
the Emma's acting was really awesome
Angela Solis and Ryan gosling too such a good ending😪
You got the invitation
You got the right address
You need some medication?
The answer's always yes
A little chance encounter
Could be the one you've waited for
Just squeeze a bit more
Tonight we're on a mission
Tonight's the casting call
If this is the real audition
Oh, God, help us all
You make the right impression
Then ev'rybody knows your name
We're in the fast lane
Someone in the crowd could be the one you need to know
The one to finally lift you off the ground
Someone in the crowd could take you where you wanna go
If you're the someone ready to be found
you're the someone ready to be found
Do what you need to do
'Til they discover you
And make you more than who
You're seeing now
So with the stars aligned
I think I'll stay behind
You've got to go and find
That someone in the crowd
That someone in the crowd
Is someone in the crowd the only thing you really see?
Watching while the world keeps spinning 'round?
Somewhere there's a place where I find who I'm gonna be
A somewhere that's just waiting to be found
Someone in the crowd could be the one you need to know
The someone who could lift you off the ground
Someone in the crowd could take you where you wanna go
Someone in the crowd could make you
Someone in the crowd could take you
Flying off the ground
If you're the someone ready to be found
God I love this movie...soundtrack is pretty much on a loop. I want to see this movie again so bad...who wants to go?!?
Make sure you buy the physical CD of soundtrack. The booklet is really beautiful!
That music and dance routines that makes you so happy . . . that tears come to your eyes: the reason why I like this movie. (so much better than the depressing political news on my TV screen)
really meaningful movie with good actors. song is giving all the emotions of the movie.
1:28 to 2:25 sounds happy but all it reminds me was the bittersweet ending sequence and it really hurts as it mirrors my own past few years.
3:07 How beautiful
frankly first time when i was watching this movie i sleep haha but day by day this movie becomes my cult movie... someday this movie will be a modern musical cult...:)
I freaking love the movie! It is so good!
Talent is talent is talent
Damn, this was really well edited!
Wow this movie gets to me I feel like we all just want to find that special person to love
But the idea of the movie is not about following your dreams? They don't marry or anything like that, but they have their dreams coming true, even the title of the movie is about that, following your dreams
Thanks honey
Thank you, alberto!!!!
emma stone is great in the film
I really hope it will win Best Movie of the Year at the Oscars! :) I LOVE IT!
Agree, it deserves every award!
Yes! It was THE best movie! I watched it for my first time a week ago and fell in love!
I wanted to get up and dance in the theater when I heard this
I think we all did Felix... WHAT GREAT TIMELESS tunes this show gad... but the ending : (((
I would NEVER change it... BUT... do you REALLY believe they wouldn't have had some contact.. phone calls, emails... or that Ceb wouldn't have taken some off time to CHASE Mia in France... OF COURSE he would have... (FRANCE is the perfect place for him to do research on his club... and play in clubs where he could play the music of his HEARTS desire...)
I wouldn't change it... BUT... I know both Seb's and Mia's ... it wouldn't have played out that way in reality... Seb's vision (which in many ways also seemed like Mia's) was truer to life...
3:08 One of the best symphonies ever!
Love the orchestrations in this film.
Best picture of the year!
Terrific songs, inspired performances - a classic!
This tore my heart out. I didn't know where the clips were from, and watching this now (I had watched this many times before seeing the movie, I loved the music without seeing the movie :/) I see that some are from epilogue and I just . . . anyone who has seen it will know how I feel
Same
Attawut! WHAT FABULOUS EDITING!!!! I LOVE THIS! At first I thought, "I saw this twice at the theater...how on earth did I miss the sailor/shop scenes?!"
its not in the movie. its from another film.
the "Anna" clip matches this song very well :D
Such a great pop song for our times .......awesome video hands up for LA LA LAND AND EMMA STONE AND RYAN GOSLING
Emma Stone went full Maddie Ziegler in 2:14
To the editor: You did good, kid. You did real good.
Fabulous, should have won more Oscars
My fucking god 1:53 - 2:22 those trumpets give me goosebumps .
YES!!!! :)))
SAME- i aspire to play that well some day 😭
your arent the only one
EMMA STONE = ALWAYS A LEGEND
1:30 the favorite bit
YOU made this?! Not an official video, but fan made? Bravo.
Masterpiece
2017 is the year of when I'm in love with Emma Stone/
Dmitriy P moonlight
Moonlight
Just watched this movie, I’m a 16 year old lad and this really stuck with me! Was so amazing!
wow! this gave me the chills.
1:30 best moment
With my love of GREAT music, this is definitely my fave movie of all time and one of few that I own. Taking my wife to see it on the silver screen was without a doubt one of the best and most memorable dates we've ever had!!!
Watch the greatest showman. IT's even better IMO.
Editing is beautifully done 👏🏼👏🏼
0:48 Princess(?) Cruise ship! You know, with the movies under the stars, this film is PERFECT for that occasion, what with all of the underneath the stars scenes..
How can this be better than the movie? Why did they skip the sailers dance and the boat scene ?!
i like the most part from 03:07 to 03:50
Lovely Emma
1:31 where the 4 girls are all ready to go out and the camera pans up to the palm tree and down again :)
This is actually really good!!
The Academy really goofed up. Not nominating one of the lively upbeat numbers like this is baffling.
So well shot and choreographed, this whole film. And this song/scene is exactly why Hollywood parties are such a waste of time-- everyone is desperate to sniff out someone who can do something for them. But this is waaay more entertaining and beautiful to endure! 🤣
Emma should see this :))
Just like old good times, Hollywood musicals.
This movie looks like a glass of milk I drank this morning. xD
Brilliant editing
I'm a freak of S.Wars and MARVEL movies....and I place that movie on my TOP10 of bests movies I seen. La La Land is just lovely!!!
excellent editing. Loved the dancing with the stars part!
incredible editing!!!!
Adoré esta película, intensa, mágica, entretenida, dinámica, emocionante. Ryan y Emma, dos grandes
I don't know who you are, but you have some mad editing skills! This is a really great compilation. I hate compilations and I usually avoid them like the plague that they tend to be. You really nailed this and made a fun little "mini movie" here. Now I am going to have to check out the rest of your stuff. Great job!
