It keeps getting better and better each season
I think the reason Chris stood up and left was because Tony admitting he was depressed almost invalidated Chris’ depression. Early episode he mentions his own negative thoughts and Tony kinda dismisses it. So Chris, understandably, is upset that Tony can be depressed but he feel like he can’t.
The way you react to Tony's mom is hilarious. I start thinking what you'd be like if she was your mother-in-law. But then I think you'd probably just tolerate her. So funny.

I love the first season. Tony was faced with a life and death situation ( his own) and he came out swinging ! Livia was so toxic it was hilarious 😊 Also: Pussy is still missing ...
Junior getting arrested at first it feels kind of like a sudden plot device to keep him on the show. Because now Tony doesn't have to kill him to take full power; he just has to style himself as acting boss while Junior technically retains the title in jail (although of course in name only).
But then we remember that they did mention the indictments earlier in the season, so they did lay the ground work for this twist. Great show.

That last scene in the restaurant I always really liked. It feels really comfortable to me with the thunderstorm and dim lighting, and all. It's also a nice moment for the family all together like that.
But wait it gets better...you are going to LOVE the second season, trust me!

Chris reacts to Tony's admission because he feels like he had to suffer under a double standard, where he couldn't say anything about his problems, but then here comes Tony doing it. He knows that if he had done the same, all of them (including Tony) would have judged him as weak. And they probably still would, because he's not the boss.

Without spoiling, I can say that each season of The Sopranos gets better than the previous one, and more extreme characters are added as well. You think Livia is evil and she is, but wait until you meet the adult Janice, then next to her Livia won't seem so bad anymore.😅

Hey Journey, I like your reaction videos and your movie choices. If you don't mind, I recommend three movies (if you haven't seen them yet): one is 'A Bronx Tale' (1993), which is a coming-of-age story, directed by Robert De Niro. It gives an insight into the world of the mafia in a similar style to the Goodfellas. The other is 'Donnie Brasco' (1997) with Al Pacino and Johnny Depp in the main roles. It is based on a true event like Goodfellas. The third one is a bit more recent, 'The Departed' (2006), which is also a somewhat similar world and a good story.
