    Nasir Raza Kazmi (Urdu: سید ناصِر رضا كاظمی was an Urdu poet from Pakistan. Kazmi was born on 8 December 1925 at Ambala, Punjab, (British India).
    Nasir Kazmi was a Pakistani poet and lyricist who was known for his contributions to Urdu literature. He was born in the city of Sialkot in present-day Pakistan in 1925 and began writing poetry at a young age. He received a traditional Islamic education and later studied at the University of Punjab, where he earned a degree in English literature.
    Kazmi is known for his ghazals, which are a form of Urdu poetry characterized by their use of rhyme and meter. His poetry often explored themes of love, loss, and the human condition, and he was known for his ability to convey complex emotions through his words. Kazmi also wrote lyrics for Pakistani film songs and was a popular figure in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
    In addition to his work as a poet, Kazmi was also politically active and was a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party. He passed away in 1972 at the age of 47.

    ناصر کاظمی وہ شاعر تھا جس نے مشکل الفاظ کی شاعری کو بدل کر آسان بنایا جس سے عام ادمی بھی اردو شاعری کے قریب آیا،رومان،اداسی،تنہائی،انتظظار،اندھیرا انکی شاعری کے بنیادی موضوعات تھے

    A totally unknown gem of Pakistan to us Indians. In India nobody knows him except lovers of shayari . I myself heard his name when I started watching few Pakistani TV shows on youtube .
