    I know you briefly mentioned this during the specs but the .5" longer shaft on the TSR3, the black shaft and 9.0 vs 9.5 face angle. I think same shafts and potential dial the Mizuno would actually win this for you by a decent mark. Maybe I am crazy, but that Mizuno is extremely impressive. I'm going to have to check it out.

      i agree. i feel like if the both drivers were put into the same shafts and angles the mizuno very possibly could come out on top. also if you think about consistency while the mizuno was off line the most they were off line in tight groups. person i would give mizuno the win. definitely something to think about in head to heads in the future.

    These kind of videos are interesting, how was the bracket pairs formulated? To be honest seems you would want the same shaft in every head being tested to really get best results. Titleist line this year is solid for sure, but the Mizuno line is very overlooked. Also basing this off of hitting it 25-30 yards offline seems very specific to the one swinging the club not everyone. Get fit and I will guarantee Mizuno shines

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Před rokem

      Drivers were picked by random draw. We wanted to show stock shafts as that’s what someone would expect in a fitting for no up charge. We figured 15 hits gives us a better overall average of dispersion. Every golfer hitting this will find some down the line and others well offline like my collection, I use the averages so it all evens out in the wash. Since I’m not a robot there isn’t a fool proof system but this seems to be okay with the majority of our viewers. Thank you tho, I appreciate the feedback!

    The Smoke Green is 5 grams heavier than the Smoke Black. That explains the swing speed difference. Also Smoke Black is a stock shaft option, so the test actually isn’t as fair a test as it should be.

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Před rokem +1

      61 vs 60. 1 gram heavier. It's the Smoke Green RDX. The Smoke Black is not listed as stock option on the Mizuno site but I'm sure it can be ordered with no upcharge. This was what we were given by Mizuno to test. It was pretty hard to even get the club itself so we couldn't be picky.

    Absolutely excellent process and clearly explained and you are very well spoken. On one hand I believe this is the best quality head to head comparison I have seen BUT ON THE OTHER HAND it wasn't even a FAIR TEST in the slightest degree. You have 3 very different variables 1. Titleist had 1/2" longer shaft and was -1/2 degree loft and had a completely different shaft....LOL COME ON MAN, those are 3 MOST IMPORTANT VARIABLES when testing and they were all different. So, you should REDO the test with exact same shaft, loft and driver length , otherwise you should just start comparing DRIVERS TO PUTTERS.

    • @NewNineGolf
      @NewNineGolf  Před rokem +1

      I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for the compliment. In regards to the variables. I agree with the loft. We actually had a full session to dial in the drivers to find the optimal setting. As far as the shafts and length. We wanted to test the stock shaft as alot of golfers purchase the drivers with it's stock shafts. We did a test a while back putting the same shaft in different heads and it produced different results. It's not a simple as same shaft as the head has to match the shaft. As far the the length. That's on the manufacturer. I'm not about to mess with what their engineers built. Adding a 1/2" in length will alter the SW by 3 points. So I would have to take out weight in the head some how. Were also limited to what the manufacturer supplies us. It was difficult to get the stock Mizuno driver to test let alone different shafts at different lengths and head weights. I hope you can see why that doesn't make much sense as most people ordering different shafts and different lengths are doing so after a fitting and ordering very specific specs. There's no perfect way to do these test and were trying very hard to make a bracket as fair and entertaining as we can. I think this is far from a driver vs putter situation. 🍻

      @@NewNineGolf I'm saying this from experience. I play that green hulk TX, with 128 club head speed. If it's not swung fast enough it will just fade/slice. When I switched to the hzrdus black gen 4, it was the opposite. I'm just saying try the same hzrdus black for both.

      long reply... I do own a Mizuno driver and 8 other ones. These contest results are bogus and catered to the sponsors. I know because I tried them all... also very few people swing that fast and the driver result so differ with swing speeds. So your results are garbage on 2 accounts.
