Oh man, I remember that King Kong game, definitely one of the better licensed games. I never knew there was an alternate ending where Kong gets to live, though. That's super cool and goes to show that they put some care into that game.
TBH, when I saw the farm animal sign in Team Fortress 2, I thought it was a reference to the magician perk from Goat Simulator MMO
Same XD
Same.
Same
I thought it was llamas in hats
Same.
The King Kong is easily my favorite one because not just the fact we got a secret ending within the game, but the game itself is just a truly amazing one to say the least as its one of the few games based on movies where it's actually good.
I ALWAYS come back to this game because both gameplay mechanics as Jack in First Person and Kong in Third Person is just soooo much fun.
I didn’t know people knew that game existed lmao
Its one of my favorite games from when I was a kid
I'm so happy "tiny room mysteries" finally got referenced, it's so full of Easter eggs and references ❤️ I loved that game (but I agree it can be frustrating 🤣)
I'm thinking the farm animal in fancy attire in TF2 is a Goat Simulator reference. You have the choice of a lot of different get-ups in that game, and the goat tends to destroy everything around it.
It is most definitely a FNAF reference because for one it's a surveillance room and you must keep the door closed if an animal with fancy attire is near it. Just like the animatronics in FNAF although it could be a reference to both who knows to be honest.
@@serenitygarcia869 but is freddy really a farm animal?, or foxy, chica and bonnie are understandable but idk about those two since you dont usallly have them on a farm and goats are more common
No wayyyyyy King Kong is finally on here!!! Let's go🤣 loved that game when i was a kid!!! Edit: holy shit I was actually given a shout out too! Thanks dude!☺️
Congrats 🎉
Right back when I didn't have a memory card
@godhasabandonedme1643 good times! That and 50 cent bulletproof were my life when I was 4/5 years old lmfao
the one game my grandma has always loved is ps2 king kong, family stole her ps2 but for years shes been telling me she wanted to replay it and find the alternate ending, for YEARS shes been saying she knows there has to be one lol, glad to know she isnt wrong, hopegully i can snag her a ps2 soon, ordered 2 so far on ebay and both were broken, thanks for proving her right
the TF2 easter egg with the farm animals could be a reference to a kids animation movie called "The Barnyard" where the animals would sneak around and not allowed into the main house.
this one is actually genius since i remember that show and them doing that
after having played king kong and loving the game as a kid, I am glad to see an alternative ending that I have not seen
I miss the 05 Kong. It was a great movie and an amazing game
"The solution to some of this puzzles are so bizarrely vague that you have no other option than to click the hint button"
You described how I played 75% of the game 🤣
I have a sad discovery I just made in Red Dead 2. I stole a train and was just going around the map and ended up in a tunnel. There was some words on written on the walls so I stopped the train to get out to see in there was more than just text. As I got out I noticed the tunnel filling with smoke. I thought it was a nice detail until I got back in the train and realized my horse who was following me was now just a saddle on the mini map. Turns out you can suffocate your horse with the fumes from a train. R.I.P Horace the horse

I think it's about George Orwell's Animal Farm, especially the pigs wearing fancy getups.
This kinda annoys me but even though Jim did do the stapler prank in the US office that joke came first in the British office where Tim (the British version of Jim) did that on Gareth (the British version of Dwight ) just wanted to clear that up bc not a lot of people know that the British one came first 👍🏻
🤓
Yeah respectfully no one cares for the British one
@@PrO-_ToNyI disrespectfully disagree
@@cracker9210 Yeah cool didn't ask little bro
The TF2 surveillance room may be a reference to the secret dog ending in Silent Hill 2. The computers and desk look pretty similar.
The TF2 community says it’s a FNAF reference.
Lol it also gives off "animal farm" vibes, but totally that silent hill 2. That, or the TF2 team has succumb to madness.
it could be a reference to both
That's what I thought at first glance as well, although why would they put up a warning specifically for farm animals then... By that same logic, bears would exclude FNAF as well, leaving Animal Farm as the most likely referencee. Or it's a mix of all three of them, like someone else said.
was i the only one that thought goat sim?
Also for Tickles The Clown, I think it might also be referencing Victor Zsasz (One of Batman's villians) due to the tally marks on his body as Zsasz adds a tally mark for every kill get gets. Although might be a stretch.
That Team Fortress 2 references sign at the surveillance room at 6:12 semes more likely to reference the Goat Simulator games.
In Town Mystery, theres a book shelf filled with monochrome books, all black and white and inbetween, and if clicked on, the guy says there must be 50 different shades of gray here.
If the TF2 reference isn’t a FNAF easter egg it could be a Silent Hill secret ending one
Did you know in Star war battlefront 2 the 2017 version Vader's breathing can be affected by his health, when at high health, Vader's breathing is the same as the movies, but if he is at low health, his breathing is a reference at the end of Return of the Jedi before he dies when he is weaken by Palpatine.
The Tiger Mask-esque wrestler enemies in River City Girls are named Dwayne, Leon, Aurelien, Szatkowski, Oscar and Hellwig probably as references to the real names of The Rock, Vader, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Rob Van Dam, Rey Misterio jr and Ultimate Warrior respectively.
One good detail is from Nightfire. If you haven’t fired at all in a while but have your gun equipped, Bond will put his finger off the trigger and aim it in a direction that isn’t in front of him, mainly upward.
I have a golden eye detail. in console, there is a mission where you have to use a computer to open a door, if you shoot it enough, the computer will explode. The game will prevent you from soft locking your self by sending a scientist in the room who has to go to the bathroom, shooting him drops his key card, also i undertale's mettaton EX boss fight, the fans will react to foods you eat.
In the new game "The Angler", South of "Cooke & Co Lumber Mill" you can find a reference to the famous wildfire prevention bear "Smokey Bear" which in the game is called "Bernie the Bear"
When you did your "hello and welcome back to another" part, it should have been when she answered the phone. That would have tickled me
There's a Easter egg in borderlands 3. If you activate one of typhoon's logs in atlas hq, you'll be attacked by 5 commandos. These commandos are references to the original power rangers, mainly red ranger, blue ranger, yellow ranger, pink rangers and black ranger.
Bit of a stretch, perhaps, but the sign about opening doors to animals in fancy clothes, makes me think of George Orwell's Animal Farm. Particularly the last part of the book, when the men and the pigs are meeting and from an outsider's perspective, the men turn into pigs and the pigs turn into men, til it is hard to discern the two. Because at the end of the story, the pigs have taken to wearing human clothes, despite supposedly despising everything it means to be human.
Also, in Starfield... if you have the Kid Stuff perk, the player character's parents have dialogue about movies like Silence of the Sands (likely a reference to Silence of the Lambs) and Muzzle & Me (likely a reference to Marley & Me).
exactly what i was thinking
6:29 Honestly I thought it was a reference to goat simulator, because in that game you can customize it in a lot of fancy ways and that's immediately where my mind went to. I didn't expect a fnaf reference though! That's a good theory as well.
You can actually use the cameras in the tf2 surveillance room to see where saxton hale is, so it's most likely a reference to fnaf
Considering the TF2 door sign shows a sheep/goat, I'd wager it's a reference to Goat Simulator and the unlockable hats both games feature
6:11 yeah that’s a fnaf reference since that is the map that nearby has a security office with the same looking doors as fnaf 1 and has a working camera
For some reason when the TF2 surveillance room warning sigh was shown I thought it was referencing Goat Simulator or the goat itself since they wear funky hats and cause chaos not to mention there a farm animal and the black shape looked almost like a goat. That's just me though
Hidden Easter egg/detail!! In the beginning of Forspoken when you have to run away from your old gang members in the tutorial for the parkour, if you look at the girls, they have Assassin creed symbol ear rings! Havent seen anyone anywhere bring it up! Pretty cool to me
I’m not sure if you have showcased it yet but in dead cells there are many, many Easter eggs and references like secret rooms and weapons and outfits I’ve found back to the future and half-life so far but I’m sure there are more
3:32 theres also a red balloon next to it referring to well "it"
I always love your consistency
Close to 1 MIL captain!
I thought that you were going to say that the alternative King Kong ending was a reference to The Lion King. That rock he was standing on reminded me of pride rock, plus the roaring.
I’m not the first person to comment about this, but pretty sure that’s a Goat Simulator reference, it’s a silly game where you play a chaotic goat that can do all sorts of weird things and would be a good idea to keep such a creature out.
In alien dark descent when you use marine to weld the door they might say this: You shall not pass, Fools.
I found a detail in Overwatch 2. On Route 66, the attack side starts in a diner with lots of signs on the walls. One of them has a QR code; scan it and you get the same text as the sign, presumably as a way for robots to 'read' the sign.
For Video Game Easter Eggs/References to other Video Games: In Zombie Army 4's Ragnarok Part 2 DLC during the first "Survive the Ambush" objective, one of the characters, when giving story exposition about the beginning of the universe, says the line "In primordial space, timeless creatures made waves."
This is referencing the exact same line from Marathon 2 of the famous Marathon series.
The fact that i got that secret ending to king kong, never knowing how after i replaced the save file, back when i was 6 or 7, is pretty damn impressive i must say
I love your work 🤩❤
I totally forgot that they’re was a King Kong game
Also I’m glad the Tony lost His Spaghetti game references Nemo. More game developers need to know that they’re’s a lot of movies and not just the few.
The sign about farm animals in fancy attire might be a reference to the animated movie called home on the range. If i remember correctly, theres a cow with a hat. And at one point she has to sneak into somewhere. I could be completely wrong, but thats what i think.
Did you know on a game called Peggle 2 one of the characters which is a troll with two goats. When his ability is activated he will hold his hand over his mug while the ability happens while it’s not active he will simply hold it
Yk, in Shadow Fight 4 when u equip Firegaurd as your hero, he sings "i just want to put the world on fire" i think it was once sang by someone.
6:35 that has gotta be goat sim
EASTER EGG: Did you know that on the Cod Modern Warfare 2 map Vondel you can find a open manhole cover with a pizza besides it. Its porbably a reference to teenage mutant ninja turtles
EASTER EGG : if you stand afk in borderlands 2 there are speciale voice lines
in crossing souls you can find splinter from tmnt and doc brown, his dog and car
in leisure suit larry wet dreams dry twice in the ending obi-wan appears, and the 2 games are full of easter eggs and parodies
This is at least the 20th time asking for you to cover “body of evidence” it’s got a boatload of Easter eggs such as Jesse pinkman in level 2 and is also just super fun.
good call on that fnaf easter egg, the doors look identical as well
In Baldur's Gate 3, if you trade with the young tiefling Mattis, he has a book named "Tarbell's Guide to Distractions". This is a reference to the real " Tarbell Course in Magic" set that teaches sleight of hand and stage magic and has influenced many professional magicians.
6:37 i think its goat sim
I can't wait until someone puts pasta instead of pizza as a spoof on the classic "Ninja Turtles" easter egg.
Easter Egg: Did you know that in Starfield if you take the Adoring Fan trait at the start of the game you can meet a rather familiar person. That's right, it's the adoring fan from TES: Oblivion, Not just that but it's the same voice actor reprising his role
Not much of an easter egg in my opinion
@@TotalHoomanI didn't know 😮

Out.
Shoo.
@@rukitomikutochi8764but it isn't an Easter egg , it is literally an option you can select.
I was thinking that the sign mentioning farm animals was about goat simulator. If it didn’t say farm, then yeah I would’ve gone with FNaF. Only 2 of the main 4 could be considered farm animals.
Literally so amazing
I'm pretty sure the "Farm animals with fancy apparel" is a reference to Llamas with hats
It's not really an Easter egg or cool game detail. More like a fun fact. But in King Kong there's a point where you have to defend some NPCs from the T-Rex. While they slowly rotate a cog wheel to get a door open. Well, if you didn't feel like dealing with the T-Rex since it was kind of a pain. You could switch places with one of the NPCs. Now you'll be turning the cog wheel to open this giant door much faster than having to fight the T-Rex. Since the NPCs you're with aren't programmed to die. The person you switch with will survive and you'll complete the level Scott free.
Have you seen all the poses in cyberpunk’s camera mode some reference anime, games, and movies if I’m not mistaken
I am almost certain the Farm animals with funny hats is a reference to Goat Simulator. what with all the weird stuff you can do. Plus the obvious goat with a hat imagery
keep up the good work
I didn't know the King King 2005 video game had Easter eggs-
its probably a FNAF Easter Egg but with surveillance being a huge role in 1984 and the TV on the far right had a figure similar to that old apple commercial that felt like a representation of 1984. As well as "Farm Animals wearing fancy attire" is a reference to "Animal Farm" animals acting human, I see it as a George Orwell easter egg witch makes it a far better easter egg than FNAF. Why would it specify "Farm animals" if FNAF animatronics aren't farm animals.
Easter egg: In Midnight fight express, there is a enemy named Sailorman in level 11, and not gonna lie, he looks very similar to a certain guy who loves spinach.
tiny room stories! i just recently downloaded it and i agree, its sometimes super annoying. but in chapter 11, toward the end of the catacombs you explore a maze. if you go the right way in the maze you can find a hat and a whip left on the ground. your character makes a comment about someone being there before you if you tap on it. seems like indy made it through the catacombs before you! if only he could have left the doors open.
I feel like if it would’ve been interesting if in the alternate Kong ending after Kong roars you hear Godzilla’s roar. I know there are reasons why they probably couldn’t and wouldn’t, but I still think that would’ve been interesting.
I think I recall that in the nightclub level of Midnight Fight Express, in the area where you fight a dude in a pig mask wielding a chainsaw, you could run across a group of people in dog masks in one of the booths on the left side of the room which are a reference to the music video for Caravan Palace's Lone Digger.
You mean the 1998 movie The Ring. The one from 2002 is a remake
Cool skate 3 cool detail is when you take your characters shirt off and give them shorts and hurt them they bruise
I think the farm animal one is a reference to Goat Simulator. Freddy Fazbear is a bear and those aren't usually farm animals.
pretty sure the surveilance room is a reference to Goat Simulator
what a good easter egg from king kong
the TF2 reference feels like a goat sim reference but I just saw a comment about the dog ending in silent hill so maybe a mix of the two?
I think the farm animal thing could either be a reference to the barnyard show or the dog ending in silent hill but dont think the dog wire clothes so probably the barnyard
In Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, the introduction battle for when you unlock Princess Peach as a teammate has an extended cutscene based upon having Rabbid Peach within the team's party where the Rabbid will show her annoyance at being upstaged.
Also, this isn't an easter egg but more of a tip - but the stage boss of World 1, Rabbid Kong, can easily be beaten if you bring Rabbid Peach and Luigi into the fight and have them use their remote-control bombs targeting Rabbid Kong. They can't reach the big ape and explode, but given that the gimmick of the stage requires the team to get a squadmate to specific points on the map to disable his auto-healing, it means you can focus on fighting the enemies instead of playing along with the stage gimmick.
I think the animal sign in tf2 is for enemy spies who disguise as animals or it is a goat sim easter egg
That phasmophobia one interests me, I thought it was a coincidental ghost interaction
I remember hearing about the Kong ending through Cheat, a show that ran on G4 that covered details and easter eggs in games. When I didn't have a PS2 or Xbox as a kid, it was cool to hear about games like Psychonauts and God of War through it.
There's a good chance that there are details there that you haven't covered, so it may be worth digging up those old episodes at some point.
I thought when clip through the wall, you see The Seal dead by ether been cooked by the chefs or it’s burst open (because that’s seal is fat)
town mystery is the first game youve covered that ive actually played (atleast on the videos ive watched so far)
edit: also the achievement names are movie titles
In House Flipper switching on the expensive TVs will show spoof sides like Amazon Prime Video (with a movie called The Filler)
3:31 BALOON!!! again
I was thinking the farm animals wearing the hats was a reference to goat simulator
The TF2 surveillance room may be a reference to Goat simulator
Daaaaaaammmmmm that is some Easter eggs
King kong is one of the most underrated games in the last 30 years.
Never knew about the secret ending for King Kong, played that game a lot back in the day.
Film references in split/second:velocity. On the map construction there are some billboards that have the films called “gone with the car” gone with the wind, 2010: a race odyssey. A space odyssey. There’s also top speed, fast side story. Idk what those 2 mean. On a side note split/second is THE best ps3 racing game you will ever play. The steam version is apparently the worst version, the ps3 one still works and so does Xbox. You can stream split second on ps5 but I don’t think you can record footage.
I think the cctv and dog sign is a silent hill easter egg
Idk if it's worth mentioning but in Tenchu: shadow assassin after you complete the story mode you can unlock as "side B" where the Dialogue in the whole game gets changed to the most ridiculous story.
King Kong game was a head of its time now
How do you look at that sign and say yeah thats 5nights at freddies? That is brutally obvious its goat sim.
I love Easter eggs 😂
The stapler jelly was in the original UK version of the Office first!
The king kong game if I could recall was I think my first game I ever played that I can remember of on the ps2 I completed that game over and over when I was less than 7 or 8 I never much of about it but I always finished the game and passed every mission the more I played it
I think the surveillance room in TF2 may be a reference of Animal Farm by George Orwell
