Mint Hill should get honorable mention. It's a racially and socioeconomically diverse suburb that has people of all walks of life. Wealthy, upper middle class, middle class, blue collar, and even lower income residents, but everybody gets along for the most part.

I currently live in the Kansas City area, but keep a close eye on Charlotte, because my kids and parents live in Europe and the proximity of Douglas airport is a very important to us. I wonder what do you think about Belmont, NC? It seems like it is close to the airport, but not too close so hopefully the noise caused by the airplanes is not disturbing. Mount Holly seems to be good too. We love the mountains, so we are mainly looking at suburbs in the west side of the Queen City. Thanks again!👍😊

Great content, thank you for sharing! Have you done or will you do a video on places to buy townhomes for people who are retiring or retired? Some retirees are looking to still be active. They would like to live in areas that have malls, restaurants, activities close by and also walkable communities. Once again, thanks for all the informative videos.

Enjoyed viewing your video. I moved to Charlotte in 1983. It was like a big country town then. Lived there until 2007. Loved living in Charlotte. Traffic could be a nightmare. I live near Fayetteville now. The WORST drivers in F'ville.
I just knew Concord was going to make the list lol. Im considering moving to SC it seems so much more affordable.
Nice work. I can break the tie. Due to it's central location some amazing amenities including Waverly, Cinemark Movie Bistro, Great Wolf Lodge, Concord Mills Mall, etc. Weddington ranks higher than Marvin in my opinion. Honestly, Weddington is my number one, but great video. I learned a lot and you confirmed many of experiences in Charlotte!
Concord Mills Mall & Great Wolf Lodge are in Concord which is not in or near Weddington or Marvin.
Great job. I like you included positives and negatives. I think the 1 negative with most of these areas(and you mentioned it) is the traffic. Towns continue to build however do not improve the roads. What should take 10 minutes in some areas, can take 45- 60 minutes.

I watched both videos. I have always thought I wanted to move to Cornelius. Would love the good and bad for there. Also most importantly, where are the fewest snakes and deadly spiders?

There are several areas that have land. I recommend that you narrow down exactly what you want..such as acreage, budget, does the land have to have a house on it already, and how developed do you want the land...those are just a few criteria, then reach out to my team and I and we can help narrow it down with you and find the best area for you.

The video is very informative. I learned a lot about the Charlotte metropolitan area. Is Kings Mountain part of the Charlotte metro area? Are towns like Rock Hill, Lancaster,S.C., Indian Land, S.C. and Gastonia,N.C. near the top list?
Hello Russell, thank you for watching! Kings Mountain is still considered part of the Charlotte Metro area. Kings Mountain is about 40 minutes from Charlotte proper (without traffic). Of the towns you mentioned I like Lancaster and Indian Land... Rock Hill and Gastonia are improving every year, but none of them on are the list of top 10 suburbs of Charlotte (according to the sources I used).

Which areas are best that is zoned for horses.
Thinking of relocating. I would be a teacher, beginning salary levels, young Black Family, husband is a truck driver. What area would diverse and good schools for my kids, but close enough if I took a job with CMS school district, and where my husband can still drive and get good loads locally?

How bad is the drive from Concord to Indian Trail? I’m asking because it’s the only place in Charlotte that has an ice skating rink. Random I know.
I commented on Tega Cay in part one, I didn’t realize you would rank it number one. You are dead on about the city. It’s a great place to raise a family and a peaceful place to live. The concern about zoning is not an issue if you move into the original boundaries of Tega Cay.

The Marvin bubble is VERY real. We moved here from Indian Land and the ratio of entitled brats to 'normal' at Marvin Ridge is like 95%. My kid feels like a fish out of water, not because we can't afford to keep up with the Joneses, but because the lack of empathy and self awareness of the other students.
Unfortunately it is.

It's a very nice suburb. Good schools and about 35-40 minutes from Charlotte. I love the millbridge subdivision in waxhaw. The downtown is small but cute.

Good information, but I am shocked that you choose not to address the demographics for all these suburbs. As a multiracial family moving from DC to Charlotte demographics is more important to my family than the quality of the roads. While looking at homes in these suburbs you mentioned, I was stopped by the cops while walking on "suspicious man in the neighborhood". We decided to move to concord because it is much more diverse and puts my family at ease. I think it is imperative that you add this in any future video in my opinion.
You raise a great point but as a licensed realtor I cannot legally talk about demographics and such.

I lived in Indian trail it's really nice the problem is people in NC can't drive that's why it takes so long to get to up town .... And Waxhaw is better then 50% of this list
I love Waxhaw. Waxhaw is out there though and the sources I used (listed in video one) didnt have Waxhaw in the top 10. Waxhaw is growing and I love some of the subdivisions in Waxhaw. Millbridge is one of those subdivisions that you move into and never have to leave, it have EVERYTHING
