Its not about just your hands. For me its about reaction time. I remember i was tested once to push a button everytime a signal popped up on my screen and my reaction time was below half that of a normal person. It doesn't matter if you gotta tap with your finger or your lips, so long as you can respond quickly to what your opponent is doing.
That is the reason that i usually stick to strategy games, and that the only fighting game I was ever good at was ninja storm, where the battles were more based around hitting the timing rather than hitting or responding rapidly.

@@purplekt1722 An FGC CZcamsr named Sajam has a good video on this topic. A lot of improving reaction time is being able to narrow down your opponent's options in a given situation. When you're new to a fighting game and your opponent jumps at you, you probably have to consciously think about your options, decide that you will anti-air, then remember what input does your anti-air, then actually do it. You'll usually get hit before you can finish those steps, though. Someone a lot more familiar with the game would know that their opponent will most likely dash in or jump at them, so their brain has already narrowed down their reaction options to two. Then, when the opponent jumps in, they pick the one option to anti-air and don't even have to consciously think about the input before starting it.
Even in strategy games or RPGs, when you start out, you probably have to read through menus to find the option you're looking for. Once you're experienced, though, you can breeze through menus without even reading them because you think in terms of the action rather than the steps.
People definitely have varying average reaction speeds which will impact high-level play for fast games, but I think practice, familiarity, and anticipation play a much bigger role for everyone but the very best.
Of course, play whatever is fun to you. I'm not trying to push fighting games on you; just address something I see as a common misconception.

@@purplekt1722 Hey just so you know you can still react fast with practice, and depending on the test you took there are a lot of factors that could have delayed your actual response time. That's why the best way to see your "body reaction" is the doctor test, where he hits the hammer on your knee on each annual physical lol. The fact that you haven't brought up your doctor being worried about your reflexes shows that you're probably fine.

I've used to play WoW and there were some players in the clan i was in who either never had the use of their legs or who lost the use of their legs during their life time. I asked them what drew them to WoW... they all said the same thing... "Because it makes me feel like i'm walking"...

I saw a video a couple years back about a research team developing technology that would allow people such as him to move virtual objects with their mind. The future definitely has some opportunities for the disabled.

Someone they didn't talk about in this interview is his mother. I was fortunate enough to meet her at EVO 2 years ago and she seems like such a caring and respectful person. I'm glad Capcom posted this because it shows how determination and the will to get better is all that's needed to move forward. Thank you BrolyLegs you are a great inspiration to all players and beyond that a great inspiration as a human :,)

You can do standing 360s and 720s
If you do it after a dash, you can do it standing or just get nasty with the jump mix-ups
In this video, Brolylegs makes you want to be a better player. In real life, he makes you want to be a better person. He really is an amazing guy and cares so much about the people around him. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from him in SFV.

So glad I got to become friends with this legend. I met him through his brother at the restaurant I work at and we've become good friends over the year or so I've known him. Funny enough he's good at every game, not just Street Fighter. We play Tekken and League of Legends every now and then too and he beats my ass in everything. If you're reading this Broly, just know I'm proud of you man!

I fought his Marth in a smash tournament once when i was 17. He played Marth. He was a very strong player and I admit I went in ready to go easy on him and then he started busting out serious movement and aerial control and I was like God Damm! A warrior!
I saw him streaming Smash around the time Ultimate came out. Really didn't know he was a Smash player. He's no joke! He's the shining example that anybody can be good at anything.
He also plays on Super Smash Bros 4, and damn what a Marth he has.

I remember loving watching BrolyLegs replays on YogaFlame24's channel, there was even a period of time where I didn't even know he was disabled which to me just shows how good he is. This guy proves to anyone that if you have your heart in it you can achieve.
