I forgot how much i liked this fucking album, when it came out. They had like a Slayer sound but also a death quality to it. Surprised this is not more of a metal underground classic. So many great metal albums people just don't know about.
@RiverOfBile All of the bands you mentioned except kreator and at the gates (not in existence) are the new wave and cant be considered as metal imo The haunted ,Machine head ,Deicide ,Darkthrone ,Danzig , Down and many more get some facts on the "METAL sound"
@RiverOfBile you are talking about different kind of metal. It is sure its metal, BUT for example kreator are not new wave band....for f***s shake, listen to "Flag of Hate" and "Extreme Aggresion" ..Enemy of God and other new albums are not the Kreator they used to be. This shows they have been influenced enough. Same did The Haunted in the Unseen album. They both got more mainstream thing so they can sell more. Lets not hide :) But, anywayZ every1 is listening what he wants. No point of argues
Unseen was one of the worst metal albums in recent memory, as far as i'm concerned. I have no idea what they're doing nowadays but they need to step it back up

This album was the soundtrack to my life back in 2001.
Marco and Adrian are back, and they've brought one of the best rhythm guitarists in Sweden with them. I think they're returning to their former glory.
RIP classic Haunted. This shit still rules to me.
