Is there any kind of special assistance to help veterans move back the states from overseas for medical care not available in the country I live in. I am 66 years old married to a Filipina and have a 14 year old stepson. I will be 67 in December.
I am service connected for high blood pressure, Diabetes, cardiomyopathy, Chronic Kidney disease, Hypothyroidism, Hyperlipidemia, myoproliferative disorder, two heart stents, double hernias which need surgery, and more including spine and multiple radiculopathies and neuropathies, petit mal seizures, arthritic joints including both shoulders.
This needs to be a permanent move so household effects must be shipped as well. The fact I have PTSD rated at 70% is a trial by itself because ofn the kidnappings, beheadings, and terrorist activities such a suicide and radio activated bombs at random. I don't have any money. My only asset is my house which I can sell but not till I have an appropriate visa. When that is received I will only have 6 months until the visa processing starts over. There no federal (US) program I know of. Maybe you know of one. Or a charitable organisation that could assist. I want to stay alive, my diabetes is progressing too fast. This is a third world country after all.
I would appreciate anything you can do.

Also veterans that are rated 100% P&T are eligible for the DD Form 2765 which is the Department of Defense Uniform Services Identification which allows the veteran to access any base installation for commissary, exchanges..etc..Also beneficiaries such as children and spouses will be entitled to the DD Form 1173 Identification to also access the bases for the same benefits. These ID's are similar in nature as military retirees.

      @MissionaryInMexico Před 4 lety +2

@@c.tucker95 I usually don't come right out and say it first thing because I'm vary sane, but what they did is so over the top that it makes me look crazy. The VA knows if they pursue a person with everything they have to discredit or harm or in my case murder a veteran, nobody will believe that veteran.
Sorry, but I don't do Facebook. The VA continued their direct death threats against me there in 2011 and I got off FB. It's a wonder they gave me any kind of decent rating at all (despite still withholding valuable info and benefits) but they did it to shut me up, make me feel like they gave something, then later hold it over my head as something they can threaten me with or take away if I make any waves, as if I don't deserve what was given to me. They also only gave me my rating because I had enough info to put some people in prison for harassment, attempted murder and conspiracy to murder. They wanted me to shut up, and at first, for many years, they tried killing me to shut me up. The more they tried to kill me the more I exposed them until the evidence became irrefutable, after I had the ears of Washington DC. My first attempt to tell the VAOIG about everything, from day 1, ending with the death threats (that they tried to follow up on, they tried to stop my heart) where a VA director told everyone in her office that she was going to have me killed (my friend warned me, he worked in her office) after my letter to the VAOIG, instead of being investigated, they sent it directly to the director I wanted them to investigate for murdering other veterans and threatening me! It was immediately following that, they tried to stop my heart in a procedure. .
Once I got ahold of Department of Defense people did the VA stop their overt attempts to murder me.
Only then did they kind of back off. Not only that, but they awarded me my rating.
But I still have a primary care doctor who abuses me on every visit. I recorded one of his abusive sessions with me where he called me full of bullshit, in his own words. He called me a liar, outright.. He did not know I was recording him and in Texas I do not need to tell him, legally.
Every test to get a rating, the VA falsified the results to insure I got no rating. I have evidence of it but they think the more they do it, the more consistent they are in falsifying results of tests, the more unbelievable I sound.
As they say, describing the VA, "It's rediculous how they spell ridiculous."

Hello, and thank you for the very informative videos.
My question is, are you awarded for each surgery that’s associated with a direct service connected disability?
I was JUST granted service connected for my left knee in 2019 (I was injured in 1990), and in 2021 ended up needing a LTKA.
I already need another surgery on the left because of crunching, instability and more than likely Synovitis and scar tissue, and maybe spacer replacement.
Additionally, in December 2021, I filed for my right knee, and was just awarded. I now need a RPKA. I have a chronic issue with Synovitis building up in my joints, especially my knees. I’ve had two Arthroscopic surgeries on my left knee, prior to VA accepting the claim, and before the TKA.

Its much easier for me to go there then for her to fly here and so the question is once I get married will the V.A. recognize her as my dependant and trigger an increase in my monetary benefits even though she won't be living here until USCIS grants her entry which may take 12-14 months? Will she also get health coverage? Thank you.

I don't know if you are aware or not, but VA rating guidelines are to not put future exams in place (the things that keep individual disabilities from being considered static...which if they all are and you are at 100% you get P&T) unless there is specific evidence that shows that improvement is likely or if regulations require a future exam (such as for cancer treatment). If you have a veteran at 100% and look at the reasons for ratings for any condition with a future exam, you should be able to figure out why they think it'll get better. If you can't...you should have the veteran file an 0995 and dispute the future exam. Hope this helps you. :)

Once a vet is P&T you get any condition tread and shouldn’t apply for any additional ratings unless you want to risk the 100% rating because might review all rated disabilities and could reduce it. They won’t review P&T folks unless you “poke the bear.” Basically no need to bother because the max is reached. However, you can ask for special monthly compensations (SMC,) which is above the pay of 100% but applying is risky as mentioned above.

My psychologist said it would be hard with my neuropathy and stress to live in apartments or around big groups. I fall getting in and out of shower. In need of knee replacement in left knee and they want to amputate below my knee on the right. They already tried a cut off and refusing but this bone disease didn't refuse at my right ankle. It's so hard getting help even when a person asks. I've asked VA advocate, a VA social worker, my county CSO and my primary Dr. Getting mail brought to my house was easy just a letter from the VA saying I can't walk over 100 ft. Did get a hospital bed and it ended. I've had a prolapsed bladder and rectocele for a yr and half. They ran tons of tests scheduled surgery canceled and put me on the back burner in tons of pain. What do we do? It's not right they say your a 100% then do as little as they have to for us. And they lie so much it's hard to trust them. When you call and it takes a month or longer to even get a call back when you can't even go to bathroom end up in local er getting catheter. It's crazy.

you all are amazing with the information you provide. Question for you if I can. if a person has 90% rating, but would like to attempt to get a 100% rating, and are almost at that 5 year mark out of the service and since last rating, should they wait for the 5 year mark or could they peruse the 100% without fear of losing the 90%?

Can you make a video discussing available benefits to 100% Rated Veterans who live in Europe and don’t have access to VA facilities? We are aware of the FMP - Foreign Medical Program, but what do we actually have access to while living over here? For example, vision care and dental. Can we visit a local doctor and be reimburst by the FMP? Over here in Europe we have to pay up front and out of pocket. Also we are required to have and maintain health insurance with the host country we live in. Is there any possability that the VA will pay our health insurance monthly premiums? These are just a few questions it would be nice if you could address. Thank you.

This is so much to digest, but I sincerely thank you all for your informative information. I do have questions. For my Uncle. I am his only niece. He never married, no children. He was in the Korean War in the mid to late 50s. Navy Honorable Discharge in 1956 and went right into the Navy Reserves until completed in 1958. So, I would like to find out what may be available for him, at age 85. From what I understand he never applied for any VA Benefits. None of his doctors are VA physicians. I have heard mixed information that any benefits from the VA must be service connected (as you are mentioning) and an injury at war time. I have heard from others that it does not matter if disability is not service connected and that he should apply for VA benefits, anyway. I have looked at several forms/applications online and tried to partially fill them out for my Uncle but the information on his DD-214 does not seem to match a few of the items on VA Applications (confused and don't want to fill in something wrong.). I have VA applications for: (1) Form 21-2680; (2) 21-526EZ; (3) 21-22; (4) 26-4555; (5) 21-0845; and (6) 21-4502. So, I don't know where to start? He asked me to find out and I told him I would try. He is an amputee since November 2020 NOT--- A WAR TIME INJURY. But do to the fact that the ship he was on was under water for so long in Korea; it may have affected his hearing. Can you help or point me in the right direction for the submission of these applications or someone to speak to? He has never applied before, but at least he would know. Thank you and He would appreciate the help so much. You young ladies are doing a great service to help with the maze of applications and process.

Thank you so very much for your time.

VA promised me Dental Implants at VA in NY, told to wait 6 monthsafter taking out my teeth. (later I found out teeth were good shouldn’t have been pulled). During 6 month wait for Bottom Dental Implants, I relocated to DE, & Dentist told me “NO” & to go back where I came from. I’ve tried everything, all I get is a “NO”!!! Can I get a VA loan for Dental Implants? How do I apply! I’m 100%. I tried Implant Dentures, VA will only give me one implant, so dentures move, unable to eat. I will pay, I just need a loan, just for bottom teeth. Going thru this since May 2015. The cost for 6 implants & bone added is $25,000, which I can afford to pay back. Can you help or suggest what I can do? Thank You!

My 100% is for my NonHohgkin cancer. I was hospitalized twice for the Nonhodkins. At same time I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer I received radiation treatments. You can apply for a REHAB HOME LOAN, on a house. Even get your bathroom, kitchen, bedroom worked on, to meet your VET'S NEEDS. Amputees could use one to meet their Disabilities. Ramps too. For anything immediate, like a furnance, most likely not! Reach out to your Community, like Habitat, Neighbor Impact. They do help with Electricity, wood stoves-like getting wood!

I now have been determined to have bladder cancer which is of course a symptom to exposure to agent orange. I had an interview with the agent orange registry and the doctor recommended me to interview for compensation. Is it feasible to have a rating of over 100%?
