    1. Introduction
Dr. Vijender Chauhan introduces us to the changing dynamics in the job market, where traditional career paths have been replaced by a newfound interest in civil services among engineering graduates. The reasons behind this phenomenon are both complex and intriguing.
    2. Reasons for Engineering Graduates Turning to UPSC
We explore the key factors that are motivating engineering graduates to consider UPSC as a career choice:
    - Lack of Employable Skills: Many engineering graduates are finding it challenging to secure jobs due to a gap between their education and the skills demanded by the job market.
    - Desire for Public Service: A growing number of engineers are inspired to serve the nation and make a positive impact through civil services.
    - Job Market Dynamics: Drastic changes in the job market and the quest for job stability are encouraging engineering graduates to explore alternative career paths.
    3. Challenges Faced by Engineering Aspirants:
Dr. Chauhan discusses the hurdles engineering aspirants face when transitioning from a technical background to the extensive syllabus of the UPSC:
    - Transition from Technical to General Studies: Adapting to the subjects and topics covered in the UPSC syllabus.
    - Time Management and Preparation Strategies The importance of effective time management and study strategies.
    4. Advantages of Engineering Background in UPSC:
Engineers bring unique strengths to the UPSC examinations, and Dr. Chauhan highlights these advantages:
    - Analytical Skills: Engineering education fosters critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which are valuable in civil services.
    - Science and Technology Knowledge: Engineers possess a strong foundation in science and technology, which is increasingly relevant in today's governance.
    5. Conclusion:
Dr. Vijender Chauhan summarizes the key takeaways from this enlightening discussion. Understanding the shift in career aspirations is crucial for both students and policymakers.

Not everything can be done by 'Imandar' preparation sir. Engineering mindset and syllabus are very different from the very beginning. You can learn Arts subjects easily with minimum effort but not the technical subjects unless you have that concepts cleared from the very basics. There is a reason that people leave technical subjects after Secondary so UPSC is truly biased here by giving engineers opportunities.

Main reason is in a govt job more money with less labour .No chance of being fired in the name of inefficiency, poor performance etc .that means job is fully secured . Automatic increase of salary and promotion eventhough one is intelligible .lastly corruption and less labour have made the govt jobs more lucrative

Meritorious students from 10th --> 12 th science --> (1. Mathematics stream --> Engineering & 2. Biology stream --> Medical courses like MBBS/BAMS)--> Most Meritorious students from all these professional courses --> Getting into their respective professions --> still many of them --> UPSC.
    Possible reasons could be:
    1. Lack of skills and job opportunities
    2. Desire of being a public servant from the very start
    3. Job market situation
It's obvious that a student who was very good in studies from the start ,did an engineering degree which is an ultimate challenge in itself , worked so hard and developed analytical skills and had a very good conceptual clarity thinking that UPSC is his/her thing.
Both the Degrees have their own significance but only when one has done it sincerely. Btw I did both so It's easy for me to be neutral😅. Thank you sir for your valuable words 🙏🏻.

Only govt job will give you money stabilty in your life or you have to work till last breath to earn a decent amount but in govt you can earn that with minimum work..so be in govt job and live with pride or leave earth!!
