In the earlier years of Destiny Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten caused chaos in the Crucible, when they initially released. Luna's Howl has returned on it's own and, although it's not nearly as broken as it once was, it definitely has some big potential for those who invest time into getting the right roll and practicing with it. I feel your pain in 6s. In no less than 5 matches today, I slid around a corner to find THE ENTIRE TEAM OF 6 as a firing line, shoulder to shoulder. How is that fun?
I can't wait for Not Forgotten to be unsunset. Lunas is phenomenal, and being able to use Not Forgotten again is going to be amazing.
This is definitely my favorite hand cannon. Non stop grind for a slide pi with more range. Mine has 61 range rn

Thread of Ascent is a free reload if you're running Strand Hunter. Completely tops you off without being a reload. Widow's Silk makes it spicier!

Watching streamers do PvP on CZcams it always seemed like they are playing against a bunch of blueberries, but this time Jake's lobby looks a lot like the lobbies I get put in: too many people all standing on top of eachother coming round the corner all at the same time and teamshooting me with meta weapons so I die before I can even get my 3rd shot off. Trying to get my fun perks to proc with all that going on is stressful.

Backup mag was the play on the original Lunas back in the day. It was ok for those that couldn't get Not Forgotten back in the day, but it was easily outclassed by Not Forgotten and a handful of other hand cannons.

Heal clip - magnificent howl is cracked
I got the exact same roll but with full bore, accurized, range MW. Thing is disgustingly good
I suck with hand cannons but this roll was insane. I was getting two-taps and popping off with this sticky head shot monster.
I got a full range slide shot MH with a handling masterwork, finally something I can pair up with my chaperone :D
The third one I got was a slideshot kill clip, and it feels nasty in crucible
The boots for the warlock that reloads when you air dodge also works, doesnt trigger a reload and you keep your stacks
Transversive Steps. One of the best exotics for warlock
@@b0mberman That does reload but the one this person was on about is Rain of Fire. Transversive Steps is reload after a short time sprinting.
I wonder what the enhanced version of magnificent howl will be since all brave weapon perks will be enhanceable when final shape drops

Probably gonna go for heal clip/incandescent and use it for PvE, I don’t like weapons I have to think about while using and epochal integration’s origin trait is just too good with conditional finality
Nobody gonna talk about max range eye of the storm with precision instrument. THAT is the god roll dueler.

The look and sound is a big deal for me because some hand cannons that look bad when firing will make me not want to use it. I'm gonna farm hard for this but the question is if I'll like it better then midnight coop. I did 50 guardian kills today with my explosive opening shot midnight coop and I really enjoy it. The flinch to people messes them up and mine has arrowhead which is 100 recoil or I can go with full bore which i have the max range possible on midnight coop full bore, ricochet, range ,asterwork and opening shot so I can get 100 range however it kills stability so I prefer my 60 range 100 recoil at least that gives me some stability
You can two tap with one mag howl shot if you have radiant
Loading mod on armor lets you reload without consuming magnificent howl too.
Yup, on getting 50 kills in crucible with Not Forgotten it helps getting precision hit kills then two tapping the next poor soul 🤣

Got my roll almost immediately encore magnificent howl trust me it works.
So.. I just realized I have the slideshot mag howl. It was the very first luna I got. Corkscrew, appended mag + backup mod (gives me 14) range master. I also got a heal clip incandescent. I guess I'm crazy lucky, lol.
What about tranversive steps on warlock?

doesnt sturm also reload energy weapons on kills so you can lucky pants build with them
My second drop was slide shot, magnificent howl, with smallbore/ricochet rounds. my third drop was discord/ heal clip in the third column and incandescent /precision instrument in the forth column.
I hope they bring back "Better Devils" hand cannon!
Magnificent howl seems like the play for really good players who can just run through every lobby they play in stacking up the perk but for most average players precision instrument is probly better
Heal Clip / Magnificent Howl would be a great roll as well

It does I got 134 head shot plus the 81
I use backup mag anyway cause Taylor Swift told me it's important to have 13 in the mag.
Basically drang and sturm
if you only got 1 mag howl bullet use it with lucky pants and last word.... you headshot with lunas and quick swap to last word for an instakill. if you have two mag howl perks i use the two taps... either way i always win.
I got slideshot precision instrument I haven't used it yet but it could be one of the better rolls. Mine only has 55 range unfortunately so it's a hard pass i am after closer to 70 range stat
When you slide it boosts your range by 20 for 2 seconds
I would say slide shot with precision instrument instead of MH

Did first round of Onslaught since unlocking Luna's how, and first chest got Shiny HammerForged , Ricochet, Slideshot, Magnificent Howl, and a Range MW. I'm DONE 😂🤣

I missed out on it first time around. Never acquired it from the archive either. I know it's a 140 but looks like it fires like how 180s fire. Not a fan of 180s. Hopefully I'll like it. I'm going to keep it attuned for pve and pvp god rolls.
Luna's and not forgotten are the only 140 precision frames. So they have a recoil pattern of a 180 but damage and range of a 140. Having both the benefits of a 140 and 180.

Yeah thanks to Fallout, everyone is already trying to get slideshot/magnificent howl. Personally I want to see what encore/ howl does
One precision kill gives you a single shot of magnificent howl on reload. Multiple precision kills would give you multiple shots. Each shot of magnificent howl has a 50% damage bonus. The steps to proc the perk and make a markable difference is probably too much to make the perk worthwhile over other options imo.

Everyone is slideshot slideshot slideshot, but by far I feel like appended mag and subsistence is a way better boon for maghowl
Auto reloader holster on your boots store your hand for a few seconds and it’s good to go

Do not even bother to get Slideshot + Magnificient Howl. The combination doesn't work as we would have hoped. Sliding ("AKA reloading the weapon) doesn't convert the stack into a Magnificient bullet.
That’s not the point of slideshot. Slideshot is to add bullets to the mag like holster, giving you more ammo to get more kills, before reloading and getting mag howl.
@@Bradford8333 gives you bonus to range and stability as well which combos super well with the reload but i prefer precision instrument over mag howl for anything other than 6v6 and pretty sure the only 140 that has access to the perk.
The whole point of slideshot is to reload the weapon to never stop pushing and chasing your opponents. If you need to stop and manually reload your gun with slideshot, you either got in an horrible position or you are not using the perk properly. If you go for slideshot, just get Precision Instrument. It’s such a waste with Magnificient Howl.
@@matteocantarelli4852 or you are attempting to activate the mag howl perk? You can push people with slideshot all day, build up enough stacks of mag howl, manually reload, and then get a two tap on the next guardian.
Not to do with hand canons but 1 bullets special is terrible! Boring as f, I wanna snipe🥲 feels like they don't know what to do with special ammo
UPDATE: slideshot mag howl does NOT work it doesnt upkeep nor proc to begin with on the slide reload got this as my third drop and was very disappointed when i saw you still have to manually reload hope yall find your god rolls just not this one :/

If it doesn't count as a reload then it shouldn't disappear either.
That just means you have the buff way longer than you normally should..
It's way better without count as reload, you can easily farm precisions kills using slideshot and then start to 2 tap everyone!
Yeah it works, you can literally save your magnificent howl bullets and bank them. And use them when your ready to piss someone one off
I think people want slideshot so they can get ammo back without reloading so you can keep stacking howl shots until you actually do a real reload then you can go on a two tapping spree.
It's not right giving away pinnacle crucible weapon for nothing after all the hard work I did to get not forgotten 😢
