Fun fact, Transversive Steps reloads Luna's Howl without taking away your Precision stacks, so its really easy to farm Magnificent Howl bullets even without Slideshot. 😊

I have a precision instruments + enlightened action and it feels fantastic.
I actually got the god roll after focusing about 200. Hammer forged or Full bore, with ricochet, slideshot, precision insturment and range master work. Normally my luck is terrible but I got this very quickly. I couldn't believe it I was so damn excited, with hammer forged or full bore so I can have 66 or 71 range and see how both feel. I still never got a 5/5 matador but I get this almost instantly.
Im glad he still gives his insights on weapons for pvp, this man made me from getting under 1.0 kd to always scoring a 2.0kd every game.
That recoil on the gun is exactly the reason i want this its the only reason i cant use hand cannons other then the 180s

I assume your controller I used to be as well you just have to practice with the other hand cannons

The first Luna's I got dropped with high caliber round, eye of the storm and opening shot.. it's missing hammer forged and magnificent howl
You're right, they did make this HC feel way better than before.
I want an eye of the storm, precision instrument roll for straight dueling in comp and trials.
I’m using magnificent howl with rain of fire. Dodge to reload when I’m not ready to use the perk. Gain stacks. Then unleash those stacks when it’s time.
Gunna have to try it out. I've never liked Precision Frames, just doesn't feel right for me! Always preferred 140's which slowly morphed into a flip a coin moment between 140's & 120's, like Igneous feels absolutely superb!
I still don't have Healclip x Incandescent Igneous for PVE 😭 This will be easier to farm out also. Another weapon I'm gunna need multiple rolls on haha.

I just finished Lunas and blasts quests and played a bunch of pvp with blast furnace and was getting mapped and killed super fast with Lunas howl. Stats aren't crazy but people turned corners and was able to down me fast so this thing is gonna be a problem for a little bit
Lunas is absolutely my new main hc outside of iggy

I have a rifled, ricochet, slideshot, mag howl roll with reload speed. My other roll is rifled, ricochet, eye of the storm, mag howl, and range masterwork.

Luna's Howl became mini Ace of Spades (pre-nerf) with how Magnificent Howl is not going away until all shots are fired.

I use this with the healing perk and the howl as a bow swap user it’s pretty dirty can get a lot of feeds plus while raident it’s a two tap swap & heal on kill with howl I just hope with every one abusing this HC they don’t nerf it 😂

Hey Frost, you're not tripping when you were talking about the "desync" feeling. I can feel that same thing after using this gun for the first time. I never used the OG Luna's. I have 89 kills with the curated roll in only 5 games. This thing is nuts!

People have done additional testing on PI and supposedly it actually sucks only adds not even another meter
I’ll stick with the Not Forgotten, one less thing to grind for but I will be looking for a heal clip and incandescent PvE roll

As someone who uses 180 scouts or handcannons with adagio, this gun shouldn’t feel any different-and I’m hyped to try it out!
I guess Opening Shot is fine when you have no other options but it feels like the equivalent of putting Reconstruction on a Primary.

I think the MH shots stack all the way to 10. You should have tested it to x3 on the titan with 10 res and overshield

I’m just curious what’s the difference between one stack of magnificent howl and kill clip? They’re basically doing the same thing.. I don’t think it’s that useful for trials or comp imo
If you get a quick 3 tap headshot to proc radiant, mag howl will let you two tap a guardian with ease if you get into another engagement relatively quickly.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but why would a Bastion Titan get 2 tapped by magnificent howl? That would diminish the fragment.
Also it left him 1 shot so you could argue that it 2 crits 1 body a T10 resil Bastion Titan which is sounds more balanced to me

Mag Howl isn't worth it at all in comp or trials you'd have to kill the first two yourself just to get a single 2 tap and it wont transfer between rounds when you can use precision instrument has hidden range and more flexible potential to 2 head 1 body someone. id even take kill clip to do the same thing as precision instrument over mag howl. i rolled a fluted, ricochet, slideshot, kill clip with stability (prefer range mw) and it shreds
Magnificent howl is goated, even with just one stack your next kill is easy, i really liked it with heal clip, it came clutch in some 1 v 2 and the activated at the same time, as long as i just need a roll with more range.
Enhanced Percision Instrument after doing the math will two head one body 5 res and below, get your funny numbers up hunters
It's devastating for me because I hate the recoil pattern that the fact there isn't any there. Always throws me off

I hate 180 recoil. It covers my target. If they strafe or crouch at the right time, I am blinded by my gun and I lose. This doesn't happen with regular 140s.

OS is 280 HP. Howl shot is 122. Do the math.

Your link at 4:10 shows the precision instrument roll. A few seconds before that he was testing howl x2 against the over shield. It was procced.

i ALMOST Got God roll Golden, got Magnificent howl-Eye of the storm, Ricochet rounds and Smallbore, and got handling instead of range, but otherwise im happy with it :)

It used to be a 180. They remade it to maintain the Frame of a 180, but reduced the fire rate to a 140.
It actually was changed to a 150, but Bungie made a change a while back changing all 150s except for Sunshot into 140s.

The extra damage from precision instrument allows you to get three taps from further away, he mentions it somewhat, ya might've just missed it.

The thing I was looking for the most was the Slideshot + Magnificient Howl interaction. I was deeply hoping that by sliding you would actually reload your gun with the Magnificient bullet..needless to say it does not

it really is not. I spent 600 tokens to get the rolls i wanted. Put 5 iron banner games in on each and it just feels off. Midnight Coup had low range, but still felt good to shoot. And this is with Slide Opening mind you.

Magnificent howl looks cool, but 2 kills before reloading to have a 2 tap gun seems like too much work especially for average PvPers. Still cool though.

The precision frame recoil makes the barrel cover my opponent every time I fire. A normal handcannon kicks out of the way and gives you full visibility of the center of your screen so you can see your opponent move. Luna does not do this. If they change strafe direction, or crouch, or flinch me hard enough, the duel is basically over. I play in Ascendant and Flawless lobbies, and these players know how to move in duels. Luna's Howl firing animation feels like a liability that is getting me killed where Rose wouldn't.
Not Forgotten with Zen Moment feels much better but still has this problem. I'm so sad, I saved tokens for days to get rolls on Luna and I hate every single one of them. 😭
