Romantic PARIS Picnic (didn't go quite as planned)

- Our romantic Paris picnic didn't go quite as planned. We started our day by walking around the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées, and shopping for our Paris picnic food. Then we made our way to the Eiffel Tower for our highly anticipated picnic in Paris. We were so excited to have a picnic under the iconic Eiffel Tower, but there were a few mishaps during our picnic. Firstly, we had to fight off bees while we were eating. We really couldn't get them to go away. Then I spilled a lot of wine all over our blanket, so we didn't have much space left to sit. Next a couple of mimes came up while we were recording and started behaving inappropriately. It wasn't exactly the romantic idea I had in my head, but all in all we had a really nice time. The weather was great, the views spectacular, and the food we picked up was yummy. Having a picnic under the Eiffel Tower was definitely on my bucket list, and I'm so grateful to have experienced it even if it wasn't like I had imagined. By the time the sun set and the Eiffel Tower started sparkling, I had forgotten about the mishaps and sat in awe of the sight before me. The lesson for me was that sometimes things don't always go to plan, but the mishaps make for funny stories and memories that I will always cherish.

Where is your favorite place to have a picnic?
On the dark side of Paris, there are a lot of scams, pickpocketing is not as fancy as it appears on camera. I would prefer to travel south of Rural France or at the border of Spain.
Yes I agree. I think with all big cities you have be wary of such things. However, we would love to explore more of France in the future! :)
