My Dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack on the 15th of July. I heard this for the first time shortly thereafter and it will forever be intertwined with my memory of him. Thank you Trevor.

Peace to you Josh. My dad died suddenly on memorial day. He was the best musician I've ever known, and who brought music into my life. So I'll always have his memory when I play music. You and I can live on as their legacy, that's how they never die. 🙏
This speaks closely to my soul about the feelings of loss, hardship, and days of grey. I have such a tendency to allow things to really dig at me, but it’s music like this that truly helps to remind me to see the tiny bit of light through those times and cherish both the good and the bad for everything they are. Saw Trevor last night and he did this song and spoke about mental health. My little brother took his life 2 days prior to this concert. This was such a beautiful concert and i felt Parker here in Austin. I love you little bro, rest in paradise. All of you are important. Never forget that!
And 2 weeks later here I am listening again. Just found out I'm diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Great song, I love it!

In the last couple of years I’ve lost a daughter, a cousin, my dad murdered someone and will spend the rest of his life in prison and I have struggled with my sobriety severely, my other daughter was hospitalized on high flow oxygen but is doing better now.
Basically through all of that your music has touched my soul since I found you. We met at the sunshine soul tour with Michael Franti and I will forever be grateful for your music. Keep it coming Trevor.
