I get this. God isn't a Christian (nor male or female). neither was Jesus a Christian. Jesus called people to follow the "Way". I think Trevor gets this. I think this song speaks to this.
Christianity is what it is I was born catholic and baptized and had my first communion.i prayed when I was younger but then I started to pray the last three years. I am a FIRM believer of the acencion of christ. Considering that I now get the holy spirit in me and thissong makes me feel it hardcore... In and through the body. Trevor gets it.
