  • We can finally move forward with the engine rebuild now that we have our fuel parts. We also had to go with tgv deletes. I can’t wait to drive the subie again, it’s gonna be a completely different car!

    Still crazy how far you guys have come. All the work and effort into youtube and I'm sure many sacrifices and difficult situations yall had to go through.     Phenolic spacers reduce heat soak between the engine and intake obviously reducing intake temps.....going to be so good when it's done

    Phenolic spacers helps reduce the transfer of heat from the block to the intake manifold therefore lowering intake Temps. Some also use phenolic spacers in order to make room and allow the intake manifold to be front facing and clear certain engine components that otherwise would not.

    if you dont already get the cylinder 4 cooling mod, killerb oil pan/pickup/baffle and iag aos v3. iag is the only company that makes a "real" aos with the correct functions. i also run all the these parts including the killerb elh. you'll love it they sound amazing. if u have other questions my insta is @amateur.swrve

    I'd say fuck getting any sort of header. The oem cast exhaust manifold elbows will hold heat much better and uel will always spool faster than Hondaboi equal length. If you feel you do need some more flow at some point, you can get ported exhaust elbows and a grimmspeed crosspipe. Definitely get a good external wastegate up pipe, a tial or turbo smart gate, a grimmspeed iwg block bracket, and whatever electronic boost solenoid that is made these days that the tuner could make not flutter your ear drums out. You will not regret going ewg with uel I promise you this sir.

    One of the best parts of an EJ is the UEL header option. I don’t really see the point of Equal length headers if you’re keeping it under 400-500hp. The rumbles when you’re cruising>small gains

      EL headers are more healthy for the motor, not just small gains :)

      @@beanerproductions1667 yes small gains sub 500. And if UEL’s were an issue, they wouldn’t still offer them from the factory. Only time I’d run equals is if I was running twin scroll

    You should check out baderbuilts CZcams channel. He’s got the record for fastest VA Subaru that’s 1200 hp. He had built hundreds of engines and race setups and knows his stuff. He had a whole video talking about the turbo inlet, the correct way to do it, and why it’s not good to just smash the intake manifold o top of it.     Fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure sensor and if you’re really feeling ballsy, flex fuel kit(depending on availability in your area)

    I’d do a front mount intercooler tbh, I tried running a bigger top mount with my 20g and ran into some fitment issues with the IWG. Plus the extra space and not having to worry about getting the y-pipe on every time you take the top mount off is 100% worth it.

    Go with ETS for the headers because their V2 is the best performing header on the market.

      those headers are more targeted towards larger frame turbos like GT35 and up because of the large diameter runners, this is good if you want to have really good top end but low end is not a priority, but the killer b is the better option for danny because he wants a responsive street car and the runners on the kiiler b are slightly smaller and a lot shorter than the ets, which will give him really good low end power and response, and the symmetrical design also helps a lot with top end too, it all really depends on what you are looking for, the ets headers would suit a large rotated setup with mainly top end power as the focus, while the killer b headers are more suited for response and holding boost at higher rpm's

      I agree and I am going with these headers my tuner had a set on a motor in his shop and explained they have the best gains for me.

    Not sure if you chose a boost 3 port solenoid. I recommend the radium multi port regulator it is awesome.

    Get your bread I don't think a real O.G subscriber would mind get some sponsorships raid shadow legends or any other to make better content man. reaction videos with the boys is also some good content so the algorithm can favor you.
