Those brass floor outlet covers are expensive new. When I saw you picking those, I was hoping you'd buy the whole box. Brass electrical fittings are always expensive new. And explosion proof. One new explosion proof outlet box can go for over $100. A bolo from an old electrician.

That colt was gorgeous, looks like he has some good bloodlines, his mama the chubby mare was nice to ,quarter horse for sure, I have a palomino gelding, And my husband has a Mare both are quarter horses, seeing that colt running around, made us think about maybe looking for a nice Stud to breed her, it's a bit late because if she were to get pregnant in September , baby would be born in August next year and Montana Winters can be grewsum, ok you guys are probably like why is this lady telling us this 🤔..The truth is I don't really know, just know that seeing that colt running around put a big smile on my face and joy in my heart, great video ,I really like the kitchy tea cups 😊

I've been grabbing brass and copper items at estate sales. Old man stuff like pipes and fittings. Scrap value is like 3-4 dollars a pound. Usually if you bundle it in with other stuff you get it for nothing. Fill a bucket is a good chunk of change at the scrap yard.

Chattanooga native here. It is fun here and very progressive [ which scares me ] but rock city and ruby falls are also fun things to do.

I live less than an hour from 127, but every year there are so many city wide/community/neighborhood sales going on at that same week that I’ve never ended up going.
I can understand that - the community sales we did the best it was cool to have so many.

I just happened to be in Lafayette GA for this sale. It's about 40 minutes south of Nooga. Made bank! We couldn't even get to everyone set up in that short stretch of road, and we were there two days!

After growing up in the country right in the middle of several farms it always makes me giggle seeing people get so excited about average farm animals, including my own daughter who got super excited when she heard a cow moo for the first time at 26 years old!🤣

Happy Birthday! Loved all the videos from the 127 sale. The aquarium is amazing in Chattanooga. We went once and had a great time. We just got back from Myrtle Beach. We had a great time. I hit a few thrift stores while there but didn’t find a whole lot.

Lake Lure area is really nice. Some of the prettiest state park I have been to are in that area & south of there into NC.

My husband and I did the 127 for the first time this year....we loved it. We live in Indiana, so we decided to travel down to Danville KY and head back north through Ohio. Lots of sales....some rain on day two, but came out of it the farther we went north. We got some really good deals, but like you said...they were mainly at the individual yard sales, and not the vendor areas....We're definitely doing it again next year!!

Porter cable sander I had was similar and the on-off switch went bad and I sprayed it with WD-40 and worked it and it worked.
you are 100% right - i worked on the on off switch and worked like a charm

I put water in and tested kettle at goodwill! It worked had it for 14 years before it died. I told the lady befor me to test it but she could not be bothered ! She was not happy when I bought it her loss ! 18:59
I’m sure by now you found out but check the silver jewelry, especially religious symbols for a “JA” on the back. James Avery is a company out of Texas that sells incredible jewelry, prices for them go much higher then non-marked silver pieces.

Good find on the tools. Good top brands. I found a BE SERIES Craftsman 1/4 inch ratchet with the yellow handle (comps for close to $100) and plomb 5251 ratchet the other day. I bought 4 tools for $6 . Gotta love those finds. Having trouble finding comps on the plomb , there's none listed or sold. What do you do when you can't find similar comps. I was thinking to list a little high and take offers, auctions make me too nervous
That what I do - i usually list high and take offers and see what happen- i probably wouldnt do an auction on that. That is some awesome finds!
I'm like you and like north of Chattanooga also. The best place I have stayed is Fall Creek Falls, they are an Inn on a lake and have buffet meals and beautiful scenery and a canyon with waterfalls. Just a few miles to the west of 127. What I have done is stay Wed. night in Chattanooga, head up Signal Mtn next day and stay next night at Fall Creek Falls.
ill have to remember that for next year - sounds like a great place and def we will be north of Signal Mountain
