BlackVue DR970X Box Plus Promo Video

The BlackVue DR970X Box Plus models feature a 4K UHD front camera equipped with a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. The DR970X Box-2CH Plus has a regular rear camera and the DR970X Box-2CH IR Plus instead features an infrared driver-facing camera with 180-degree diagonal view angle. Both rear and interior cameras use a Full HD Sony STARVIS sensor.
And of course, the BlackVue Box Plus models are Cloud-compatible via Wi-Fi or the optional BlackVue LTE Connectivity Module.
With their modular design, the Box Plus models offer:

Just hardwired the dr970x box plus with power magic ultra battery in my va sti. Box secured to the top of the glovebox while battery tucked away underneath the passenger seat. Super easy install and with a little effort you can hide every inch of wire. Thanks for the cam guys.

Hope this isn't spamming, but I wanted to share with you what I just posted.
I recently purchased the DR970x 2Ch IR Plus Box through BlackboxMyCar. The unit arrived and I was shocked that it didn't include an SOS button. I didn't realize it at first, but their website doesn't even show it's included. However, if you look at the same unit as advertised on the Blackvue website, the button is in fact included. I wans going to purchase the unit through Blackvue at first, but decided to go with BlackboxmyCar because they're a distributor on the USA.
So it appears that Blackvue is shipping SOS buttons with all box units purchased through them, but if you purchase a unit through one of their distributors, the button may or may not be included.
This is not a BlackboxMyCar issue and seems to be something going on within Blackvue.
What sense does it make to not include an SOS button with this kind of unit? There is no way to start a manual recording without it. And on the Blackvue website, it's just a standard piece that's included with all units, but on the BlackboxMyCar website, it's not included and there is no option to even include it when purchasing.

On your Box models, where is the impact/g-sensor located? Is it located in the box unit itself or in the camera?
