After the Chase - October Bowhunting Success

Success on The Hill as After the Chase continues with some Scrape Week action and late October bowhunting. This time of year is one of our favorites because the bucks are starting to get more daylight active as they are roaming their domain, scrape activity is picking up, and any type of cold front could put us right in the middle of the action. 3 Bucks actually go down in this episode, highlighted by pops knocking down his best buck ever on a self filmed mission in New York. We rely heavily on scents and trail cameras to put us in the right position this time of year. As expected, the bucks were actively starting to scent check does and make scrapes as they prepare for the rut in November. Even with warmer temperatures we saw multiple good bucks on their feet in daylight and 3 of them met their maker here on the 3rd episode of After the Chase! Lets go hunting!
