People forget last season was Gavi's first ever season as a professional. At 17. And he made himself undroppable for Barça and Spain. People also forget Gavi was a Barça B player for the entirety of last season and only just signed a first team contract, hence his number 30, la liga only allows up to 26. So he played every match for Barça last season despite still being registered in Barça B.
I cant think of any player in history with such a meteoric rise at a top club at his age. Maybe Rooney but he blew up at Everton first.
Gavi is also INSANELY popular in Spain.

If you say "Bellingham robbed" you've got no knowledge of football. Just look at all the stats not just goals and assists and watch some of his matches and if you are not blind you will see that Gavi deserves it more. Also Last season Gavi was only 17 yo and he instantly took the place in Spain national team. He's just an incredible player at such a young age.

The ballon d'or continues to be an absolute joke. Gavi has done absolutely nothing, he constantly goes missing in the big games.
