Great Lady Anahit, the glory of our nation and vivifier... - Agathangelos
Anahit (2021) is an original song for an ancient Lyre and an Armenian Duduk, inspired by the story of the Armenian goddess of healing and wisdom. The historian Berossus identifies Anahit with Aphrodite, while medieval Armenian scribes identify her with Artemis.
The melody is performed by a skilled ancient lyre player, Theodore Koumartzis, and a master of the wind instruments Socrates Votskos. Theodore performs for us on a Lyre of Orpheus (9 strings), lovingly handmade by LUTHIEROS Workshop in Greece.

Very inspiring, all of your soulful performances!
I am considering learning the lyre with the Lyre of Aphrodite and playing it along recitations of original poetry and also singing the poetry -
can you recommend this model for the purpose?
I couldn't find too many sound samples of it on the internet, but it felt like it has a warmth to it that would fit tender and soulful poetry.
My voice ranges from D2 to A4 (on very good days :D)
If there are any other models around that prize you could think of that you are convinced would be good fit for that purpose I'd love to know, although I have to say that playing with Aphrodite definitively is alluring. ;D

Concerning your question, the LUTHIEROS Lyre of Aphrodite is a perfect lyre for beginners; a lyre with professional capabilities, and at the same time easy to use and learn on it. If you can stretch a little bit your budget, then the 9strings Lyre of Hermes will definitely give you significantly more abilities.
