My right eye is amblyopic since childhood. It had a vision of 6/60 partial. My left eye was normal 6/6. I had missles when I was kid. I later developed squint and it probably detoriated vision of my right eye. This was noticed when I was 10 or 11 years old. Even I was asked to undergo patching left eye. But it was frustrating as the vision was not improving. I gave up the treatment. Today I am 62 years and my right eye vision is 6/36 to 6/24 partial. I am inclined to say its mainly eye and brain disorder. Also at times I feel my right eye is not getting enough blood supply and nerve supply. I also feel medical practitioner s should focus more on neurological solutions than just patching.
i have similar problem but my right eye is -12.50 at age 19. I can control my lazy eye. and i try to train my brain to use my amblyopic eye as much as possible. Any recommendations to consider going forward ?
Have my patch on while watching this , bought from Amazon. Have squint eye and amblyopia in my right eye, starting with minimum 4 hrs a day . Have my laser treatment in April, not wearing glasses would be a dream
