The error cards that I know of from this set were: Juan Gonzalez RR reverse image; Tom Glavine's face on John Smoltz MVP; reverse image Diamond King of Brian Downing; reverse backs of the Diamond King Nolan Ryan and Nolan Ryan 5,000Ks.
This was a GREAT value! I was 15 in 1990 too! I bought a couple of boxes of older cards this week...just to go back in a time machine. Thanks for posting this!

67 years old soon to be 68 anyway I used to save baseball card's back in the 1960s when I was a kid. It's like you had the baseball cards back when you were a kid you would be rich the memories are just to funny back in the day grew up in tracy california and all the baseball game's it was a blow out way back when.
I still love ripping old wax. Can’t wait to see the next 90 Donruss box. Keep up the Throwback videos. Love them.

I bought a ton of these back in 1990 when I was 8 years old and would get a Griffey card damn near every time I would buy 3 or 4 packs. I probably have at least 25 Griffey’s from this set lol. One error card I got that’s always intrigued me, & that I’ve never heard anyone else mention is a Topps Dennis Eckersley, it’s either a 1989 or 1990- (I’d have to go through my old cards to find it)
But it has no printing at all on the back, it’s just blank. And it isn’t a box bottom, which all the kids accused me of doing- cutting it out from the bottom of the box. But I 100% pulled it out of a pack. Cool channel- it really does bring back memories from when life was full of magic.
Pleased to have watched your break as I’m just rediscovering by cards from this era. One case of which is the ‘90 Donruss, and as a Canadian baseball fan, I had no idea mine were “Canadian” in any way. They appear to still be printed and produced in the US with the obvious markings but I can confirm mine are 36 count boxes of 10 cards per pack. Just a smaller box 👍

I found a bunch of these that have the INC with no period at the end, I also found a John Smoltz card with Tom Glavine's picture on it.

Classic set I got such much of this as a kid! I think between me and my bro we had like 3 complete sets. Red Donruss is what we called it. always liked those Nolan Ryan 5000Ks cards! Nice video brought back the memories!

Challenge accepted and answer is boring but here you go......As most of the veteran collectors here know, back in the 1980s/1990s, (not Topps, Donruss, Fleer, anyone) ever made public what the production numbers were for their cards. In fact, it was probably easier to get access to the Coke and Kentucky Fried Chicken recipies than to get access to those production figures; that's how secret they were (maybe).

I was into cards just like you were at the same timeframe. I’m almost 42 years old and my parents got me 25 boxes of these Donruss 1990 cards. I’ve opened 12 boxes and I’m working on opening the remaining 13 boxes. I haven’t opened them until 2021 and I’ve got the Griffey’s, Ryan’s, Ripken, Glavine, Maddux, Gwynn, Pucket, Johnson, McGuire, Bonds, Larkin, Murphy and of course the Gonzalez Rookie but unfortunately haven’t came across the backwards Gonzalez but hopeful I run across one. I read that they only made 12 of them. If I find one I hope that that’s true. I have got pages of all of them.

All star cards error is on the back has "recent major league performance". The correct card will have"all-star game preference". I have a Bo Jackson error card.
Love watching the vintage rips. I love the classic designs and being able to look back at who turned out and who we may have "forgotten" about.

Errors were rampant in such a cheap product. I have “error” Griffey’s and many others. I feel nostalgic looking at these cards as well. Sadly I don’t think they are worth more than just memories. Kids today are spoiled in card collecting. But what goes around comes around. Watered down pricy sets are coming back in fashion
I've seen channels to where some say these errors aren't worth anything. However I pulled mine out after 34 years and I had 8 Mark Grace - only one had not dot after INC - same as Gwynn - Jackson - etc. etc. etc. so yes errors at only around 12% then should command some sort of premium, maybe not what people are asking but if they are getting it, more power to them.
When i collect this set i enjoyed the diamond set still have it in my binder . collected the pirates also. norlan ryan and all the different sets in the sets was cool.
I got the Ken Griffey Jr donruss Error no dot after ink
I have one of the Griffey. Card#365. Has the dot after Inc.
By the way I appreciate this video i randomly came across it and its funny i just bought this same box a month ago. An everything you said about the nostalgia of the memories i am around same age as you so I understand. In my box i got both griffeys since you pointed out a few errors i wasnt aware of i have to go back and check if i got aome error cards i missed

The error on the national league or american league cards is on the bottom right aide there was no TM for trademark

Wish I had more of the error cards from my Donruss 1990s. I come up mostly with the no ' . ' after INC on the back of the card.

So, just what is the Griffey worth?
Are any of these worth anything. I have some with the errors. Online it shows they can be worth a ton. But other videos people say they are worth nothing.

Kids hated them when they came out because it was cursive writing. Donruss didn't do to well with these and never put their names in cursive again.
