We recently sat down with buzzing Milwaukee artist Chicken P for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about his experience growing up in Milwaukee, playing sports, misconceptions about the city due to the music, the Low End sound in the city, the support he gets from his city, being versatile with the music he makes, jumping off the porch when he was 13, shares his thoughts on school, recalls recording his first song, getting good feedback from the first song, selling his first CD hand to hand, explains how he got the nickname Chicken, his song “Fast Cash Babies” blowing up, starting off just dropping his tapes on CZcams & SoundCloud, Ohio showing him a lot of love, signing with 10K Projects, dropping his project ‘BussaBrick Volume 2’ project while he was locked up, his new project ‘BussaBrick Vol. 3’, manifesting his success while locked up, turning down a plea for 13 years, getting co-signs from a lot of big names, explains why he didn’t put any features on his recent projects, reveals he has some big features on the way, the inspiration for his songs “Rollin” “People’s Favorite” “Mode Again”, his GTA server, his new single & video “Ain’t Runnin Out”, recording the song while on IG Live, the police not letting him perform in his city recently, his next project, reveals one of the biggest life lessons he learned, shares advice, and much more!
