- Driving during Peaceful evening hours and sunset in Palm Beach Island, Florida Island. Drive is mostly on the scenic costal highway A1A and some other main roads. It starts near North most point of the island and ends shortly after world famous Maralago resort in the south part of the island which is also known as billionaires row area on South Ocean Boulevard. It looks like salt from the Atlantic Ocean waves created an gradually increasing glow effect visible around the lights in this video which was recorded with a camera mounted outside the car for best possible optical results.

Palm Beach is an incorporated town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. Located on an island in east-central Palm Beach County, the town is separated from several nearby cities including West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach by the Intracoastal Waterway to its west, though Palm Beach borders a small section of the latter and South Palm Beach at its southern boundaries. As of 2010 census, Palm Beach had a year-round population of 8,348 and an estimated population of 8,816 in 2019, with an increase to approximately 25,000 people between November and April.
Addison Mizner also contributed significantly to the town's history, designing 67 structures, including El Mirasol, the Everglades Club, La Querida, the William Gray Warden House, and Via Mizner, which is a section of Worth Avenue.
Forbes reported in 2017 that Palm Beach had at least 30 billionaires, with the town ranking as the 27th-wealthiest place in the United States in 2016 according to Bloomberg News. Many famous and wealthy individuals have resided in the town, including United States presidents John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump. Palm Beach is also noted for upscale shopping districts such as Worth Avenue, Royal Poinciana Plaza, and the Royal Poinciana Way Historic District.

I wonder how long it took the hedges to grow as tall as a house along the roadway. Everything is so clean and peaceful along this route...I wonder who lives in these homes, and what is the history of them...So mysterious...It all makes me wonder about all I see...as well as what the property taxes are...what sort of job/career one must have to call these neighborhoods that they live in, home. If I had the money it takes...I would have an Oceanfront home. Thank you for taking me for this beautiful ride...I very much appreciate your kindness.

I live close this area and yes this is a very very rich area. Almost every single house is worth over 20 million or so. The ocean drive is very scenic and I think if you start from the city of west palm beach you can end up near Fort Lauderdale going south.

my suggestion was to run the video another 5min more and get the rest of palm beach the southern part the town runs south another few more miles past Sloan's curve all the way south to La Bonne Vie you missed out on some great sunsets in the south end where the barrier island is very tiny and can see the ocean and intracoastal come together. Maybe do A South end video from Mara largo down!!!

Great video! I'm curious if there is any public access to the water in the first segment of the video, or if that is all private access along there. That wouldn't surprise me all that much, having seen similar circumstances in Virginia and North Carolina when I lived there (especially figuring these residents probably value their privacy quite a bit :) ). Hi Bill, I forget to mention that some of the landscaping is not so perfectly maintained at the moment because it's a bit off season for now. But once winter hits North, more people will be here and landscaping will be much better I think 😀 In addition, there is an ongoing work for putting power lines underground. When completed, Palm Beach will look even nicer 🌴😀🍀 Take Care 🌴👻
Allowing privatization of public places such as beaches is a terrible shame.

Hello clm, as far as I know visitors to the area and to the Volcanoes National Park unable to see the lava lake from unrestricted areas, but besides that there is no restriction that stops people from going to the beaches that I am aware of...
