Live performance monsters! I've never seen anything like The Warning. And I've seen bands come and go since 1960. This whole concert is a gift from The Warning to their loyal fans. Sold out, awesome staging, and recorded wonderfully. It's just a matter of time and they will be headlining. We are proud of them. ⚡⚡⚡
The answer is that their songs aren't "written" so much as "composed". They also have their secret weapon in Lalo - he can wring the perfect sound mix out of pretty much any setup. I saw them a couple years ago in a festival setting, where they were in the middle of the selection of bands. Some of them - many of them, really - wrestled their own sound gear up to the mid-audience "sound booth" (that was just lined with the same 3' tall fence railing that lined the separate sections of the seating area) and spent a half hour fiddling around getting everything set up. Lalo and another guy (not sure who it was, I was staring at the back of their heads mostly) calmly entered the booth, and using the built-in venue equipment did a few tweaks... and _The Warning_ had far and away the best, cleanest sound of *any* of the bands playing that day. It was absolutely incredible. Using whatever beat-up, janky equipment the stage had provided. Mind blown. I once read something someone else commented (I believe here on YT) that summed up _The Warning's_ approach to playing (paraphrasing here): "Most bands struggle to capture their studio sound when playing live. _The Warning_ does precisely the opposite..."
They have a great sound engineer in Lalo Plaza. He has been with them for about three years. He did an interview (sadly in Spanish) on how he became TW’s sound engineer. Additionally, this concert video’s audio was mixed by Beto Ramos, Pau’s drum coach and drummer of the band Jumbo. If he can teach Pau to greatness…..
TW rarely ever extends a song. Unless a song is created with a solo, you won't hear one. They do not upstage one another, which is a very good reason for why you'll likely not see them break up as a band due to someone's ego getting the best of them. I find this refreshing as I believe one of the things that drove the mass audience away from Rock music was that every band had songs with solos for every member in their live sets making the songs longer than need be for the sake of allowing each member to show off.
Exactly. I can think of maybe 3 songs that deserve an extended guitar solo, Comfortably Numb, Wonderful Tonight, and Purple Rain. Maybe a couple of others but there is no need for drum solos, bass solos, etc. I suppose it gives the other band members a break during a long concert but if you need a breather, take an intermission, change your outfits.
This is their super power! They were born to do this, and they put in the work to make sure that due respect is shown to each other, the songs and the audience. These sisters are living out their dream and having the time of their lives doing it!
They are always best live the MVs are great but to see Dany hit those notes and Pau's lower backing vocals makes it special. Ale singing a solo part is awesome and a fan favorite. Thanks for reacting to this incredible band much appreciated. 🤘⚡🔥

"just let me drown" in my troubles... That’s what is so good about a 3 piece band. You hear all the instruments. You have to. These three are perfection

As good as they are in the studio, they are better live. Every song they do, the best version is a live version.

Totally agree. Whenever a band allows everyone to have solos the performance turns into a mess.
