In my opinion he means sometimes he must get hurt to have some inspiration, he often says that his songs are reation for situation when someone hurt him or annoyed him or stuff like this.
Yes he sounds very tired and seems to be kind of depressive. He is not content with hisself. The tour is almost over and I hope he will get power and freedom inside.....and I must say I'm very curious about the next album. Seems it will be more darker than Bfts. Thank you so much for this Mandy!!!
well, for what i heard, he says that referring to the choice of setlist.. the woman says "tonight set.. what is it gonna be" and brian says "i don't know, i'm just gonna put my head into the.. (basedrum, maybe?) and then gonna allow myself to be beaten". and the woman "you really like to be hurt"
i think he is being sarcastic a bit on that one, with a child now I know mine is about the same age as his an it is a life changer. so he is mabey just being a responsible with life now. at least it sounds like our Cebo boys are not going anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! kisses babe, keep da faith love
Ohh... I'm cheerful and optimistic person so for me is kinda hard to understand why most Placebo fans like only dark and depressive music. I must confess BFTS is my fav Placebo album just because is more optimitic and not so dark. It would be vary sad for me if they really became so dark and depressive again... I'm afraid this kind of music don't suit to my personality at all and more over, I would be afraid that something wrong is happening in Brian's life again....
Molko is very good at destroying the things he loves. He doesn't like to repeat himself at all. A lot of artists are like this. They have to react artistically against the former work. He also hates interviews, well most of them. Since he said all this, he has played Pure Morning and Nancy Boy both. lol A lot of this talk is just BS. That's the one thing about Molko that I see in his interviews. Sometimes he talks off the top of his head. This is one of them.
