I ordered the Purosangue a couple of years ago, to join my SF90 Stradale and 296 GTS in the garage as my 3rd brand new Ferrari, and a totally different car to the others. Having previously owned an FF, and two GTC4Lussos, the first ever SUV (or not an SUV) from Maranello was a natural successor and one that will be well used in the years ahead. However, prior to collection day, I'm yet to reveal and announce the spec that I've chosen for this V12-equipped machine.
To celebrate the arrival, we're taking both of the current Maranello-built supercars on the road to Ferrari Hatfield, the sister dealership to Ferrari Mayfair from where I purchase my cars, and the venue of choice for delivery day of one of the earliest customer Purosangues out there. The car awaits us in the handover bay, significantly larger than the recently delivered 296 GTS, but ready for a full presentation and first drive back home.
Let's dive into the options; as a tribute to my first ever Ferrari, the Purosangue is painted in multi-layer Blu Le Mans paintwork with bright silver wheels and red calipers, finished with all exterior carbon fibre and a panoramic glass roof. I'm particularly proud of my interior choice with dual-tone Cuoio and Blu Sterling for a tan/blue split and very highly equipped in terms of technology to make a spectacularly pleasant place to be seated for long drives.
Due to the car having arrived in the first half of October but with my travels in the meantime, it's already been to the team at @TopazDetailing for full Paint Protection Film to be installed. The beauty of this setup and convenience with HR Owen, is that it's fully ready to go straight out onto the road and get started on getting the run in completed.

I loved my FF, had it for over 4 years which was longer than expected. Once you face the reality of these cars, the practicality and slightly left-field nature of the 4 seater cars makes so much sense. Top spec, nice to see a retrained and stylish set of choices.

It is a lovely blue and a very stunning interior. It really looks a lot like a fancier Mazda SUV, but you seem very excited about it, so that's definitely the most important thing. Enjoy your new vehicle, Tim!

I think the spec is nice but too safe for the flamboyance of the channel and doesn’t show off the nice lines of the car. I would have gone for Ferrari red or yellow!!! The collection needs a pure red - especially as a Ferrari!

@@markwood7045 not at all! The Purosangue looks incredible in red, as it shows off the lines. The dark blue is nice but in my opinion less interesting/exciting.
Plus Tim doesn’t own a pure red car in the collection and having three Ferrari’s it feels strange not to.
The Color and Interior are amazing choices! It definitely has all of the physical beauty of the FF, but remains unique on its own! I must say I do lean towards Ferrari as my favorite and it is clear you have a real passion for the latest Ferrari Shmeemobile! I see a future need to expand the Shmeeuseum to accommodate this growing and amazing collection! Cheeeers!
There is no doubt this car looks good and is also very practical to do anything in. Perfect interior spec in my eyes, definitely would have not picked an exterior paint like this myself, but I totally understand how it ties back to the first one in the garage. Also don't get why no unique diamond cut wheels they offer for it.

I've always looked back fondly on Blu Le Mans from my first FF, for me this was a done deal decision as soon as I knew how the Purosangue would look. Everybody is going to have their own opinions on colours, but what can I say, I like blue!
I think he has spec the car which appeals wider number of people against the unique bright colour… so it would be a easy sell in future i guess…😊
Trust me, this is nothing to do with resale or it would be black over a black interior, and I wouldn't be about to do 3,000 miles in the first month alone!
Maybe yellow calipers to match the Ferrari badges.

Tim when you put away the hat shelf and part of the back rest, I think it's best to put the floor part over the folded back rests to protect them from damage when loading larger things. Because you don't want to expose the leather-covered backrests to getting ugly marks or damage. That's my thought.

I love the spec of the PUROSANGUE . there is only 1 thing in the interior where I am not a fan off and that is the gloss piano black in the middle console. would have been nice to see that in matte black or matte carbon. (it always shows every finger etc) (have to say, Tim your specs are always spot on great)

The car is absolutely stunning and honestly, that's exactly how I would have speced it. The interior is absolute perfection and I've always been a huge fan of silver wheels. I know that shearing a spec is another additional video for the channel but it is actually cool that we didn't know how it is going to look till the handover 🤷♂😁 I was hoping for some 'crazier' color but it looks fantastic 👌 I didn't want to go into comments to avoid a spoiler, so I waited till the end to go down, and after seeing Puppy walking up there in the office on some treadmill, I though comments would be run over by comments about that, but to my surprise they aren't 😂😂

Nice spec with a nice story, BUT I wish it was Verde British Racing as you are missing a dark green car in your collection.
Fair play Tim, you definitely know how to spec a car, its got class. My Perosangue (when it arrives in 3 months) is the complete opposite to your spec.
Mine won’t come for another 12 to 18 months, and I chose Nero Purosangue, which I think is the color of that one he passed in the parking lot. It’s black, but has a lot of metallic flake to make it look purple or red in the sunshine

Dude, I enjoy all the stuff you do and don’t normally miss an episode on the channel but I have to confess that I am starting to find some of your road trips a bit tedious. There’s only so many times we can see the shops of your friends or watch laps of the Nurburgring. What I really miss is the shmuseum channel and seeing Tom and Brad getting up to their antics. It just breaks things up a bit. Will it feature again any time soon???

You nailed the spec, the blue is a brilliant choice.
My question is why did they go with motorised rear doors? Each time you opened them it looked like there is a delay between pulling the handle and the door opening. Wouldn't it be quicker to just have a normal door handle? Not a fan of all these electric doors.
