  • I've had a problem for a while and that was how to store my wash tape and still have full access to it, in this video I introduce you to what I think is going to be the solution for me.
This set of five rings was purchased from Amazon and they care called Washi Tape Storage Rings, when my new website has gone live I will update this description with a link to the product.

I know that I'm late to this one since I only recently discovered you, but I LIKE these rings. I have been using embroidery hoops for years, and will probably keep doing so, but when I add more, I'll remember these. Thank you.

Fabulous, great idea with embroidery hoops though.

You can also accomplish this if you happen to have any old embroidery hoops laying around. They look really nice on some of the old vintage hoops that I got from a flea market.

Terry I never thought of that and as I used to do cross stitch I have several hoops lying around going nothing.

Nor did I but I stumbled upon them doing searches for wash tape storage ideas.

These look great. My washi in a clear acrylic drawer unit. I have several of the acrylic drawers and store my lace, ink pads, tiny scissors, punched tabs, etc in them. I like being able to see things too. If it goes in a box it may never see the light of day again. Lol

I totally agree, in my new craft space there are no boxes with lids as out of sight out of mind.

Wow! I didn’t even know there was such a thing as washi tape rings. Thank you for sharing. It’s a very smart way to organize and store the washi!

You are so welcome! Laura M suggested using trouser hangers which I thought was a great idea too.

Hi Gayle, I'm finding them very useful I just wish I had a few more hoops but then maybe I need to curb my wash buying addiction. Laura M suggested using trouser hangers which is a great idea so I might put the extras on one of those.

Oooo loving this product. My Washi is semi sorted into bins in a drawer but I still have to rummage through them to find the one I want. I will be buying a set of these for my craft table. Thank you Ceri!

Dollar tree as a set of three rings for wreath. I had to cut it to open the ring, I will try it to see how it holds up and I will duck tape it close

I would do solid & pattern first then color code those. Yeah I like your size sorts too. Love that you shared these hoops. Color coding helps find the right color quickly cause I have some deep pinks that read “red” in some lighting situations etc like blues charcoal gray & blacks. Will be keeping an eye on out for your update on this system of storage.

Deb, this is totally working for me although I've not yet got around to putting the hangers on the wall for the hoops, I'm also finding I could use a couple more hoops but I must control myself when buying too much wash.

Great idea,TFS. I wonder if you’re still using these rings or if you’ve come across another solution? I like how the rings can hang instead of taking up premium surface space, yet can still be easy to grab.

Wow! I currently have mine on trouser hangers and it's too fiddly, because I can't just grab it and use it on the hanger.... this looks interesting 🤔

I organize mine by color. When I started buying collections I loop them on a piece of jute by collection then thread the the jute on a hoop. Put the non collections in a plastic divider box .

Kathy I’ve now started to sort them by width so that I then stumble on colours and designs I’d forgotten about.

What a great idea for storing washi tape. I reside in America; can those rings be purchased here?

I’m not sure Leah, I ordered them from amazon so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re available world wide.
