The dents with creases, you’ll have to work with the surface. You can still use suction cups, but you’ll have to “play with the dent” a little..you won’t be able to pull it out directly from the center, so pulling it from the upper edges of the creases & working them out will usually make the dent “less visible” but it may still be there slightly.

Been pulling out a dent for an hour with these on the rear door of my Peugeot 306 Gti6. The small one proved totally useless as it comes off too easily. The large one however was good and I was even able to pull across the curved surface of the panel without it coming off. End result, after one hour of extremely hard work was marginal improvement and both hands blistered.

I just bought the small one and initially not much success dry. I just tried it again with glass cleaner and if you keep working it back and forth it creates a tremendous amount of suction. Enough to rock my full size GMC side to side. Even when I released it, it still had suction.

You will need to boil the water to a certain degree and pour it on the area that you see the large dent and use a special the design suction cup tools to pull it out. It's a repetitive process, but it's certainly worth spending above a grand to a repairman

If you were to incorporate some peripheral light tapping with a small, soft hammer simultaneously on the crests while your were pulling I think you'd have measurably greater results. This would enable the puller's mechanical advantage to facilitate easier molecular relaxation of the stressed edges. Fun watch though. Thank you.

they work but you have to prepare the metal first; heat the metal where the ding is with hot water; or hairdryer then put the dent puller on area; then pull - try this way - the dent puller needs help first ie: heating metal to make it flexible etc

If you have a small dent with a slight crease, after cleaning and heating up, I think using a rubber hammer, high frequency tapping on the highest spot of the crease, as you are pulling a small suck cup together might give a better results on the dent..

My problem is that it is hard to start when its warm
It usually starts but it takes a few tries.
When its cold it usually starts on the first try but it takes sometime for it to start right up the engine is "coughing" but it does almost always start.
The engine also feels "wobbly" when i accelerate like the engine is hesitating. It certainly doesnt feel like the 191hp its supposed to have
It also has very pour mileage about 1.7 mpg
Do you know what the problem might be appreciate all help!

I've found that, if accessible, go from the inside of the dented area with a child's small football. Place it against a firm surface (such as a 2x4) to press against and slowly inflate the ball. The dent will easily resume original position. Relocate ball as needed to get other parts of the dent out. Go slow! You don't want to stretch the metal beyond original position. J. P. Stockton Ca.
