As you may have read a couple of months ago, the American soprano stole the show during the premiere of La Traviata's ROH tour in Japan (you can read the review on the Guardian's website, 14/09/10). We are very proud that she sang as part of Rosenblatt Recitals and we suggest that you keep an eye on our future recitalists this year to discover other operatic stars on the rise...
She has the most beautiful tone. Her first pianissimo was stunning. I hope we hear more of her.

Absolutely gorgeous. She is so underrated.... and I would say it probably has something to do with her ethnicity...her husband is getting more attention, though.

the pianist plays like a complete amateur,he is not helping the aria nor the singer,which i like much.She has great dynamics!

Moi non plus je ne suis pas convaincu par son interprétation. On est très loin d'une Montserrat Caballé qui , dans cet aria m'à beaucoup plus touché
Trovo che come paragone è assurdo.
Cantare un aria così difficile senza orchestra non è da tutti..
Cela n'a rien à voir avec un orchestre ou l'intimité d'un piano. C'est dans l'interprétation que se porte ma critique, là où certains passages sont chantés en force par cette chanteuse, Montserrat Caballé y apporte une sensibilité qui m'apparaît plus opportune, plus approprié pour cet aria. c'est un style Français, où tout est dans le texte et l'interprétation ne l'oubliez pas, nous ne sommes pas dans un bel canto italien ou l'extravagance et autres envolées lyriques comptent davantage que l'émotion. Bien entendu,ceci ne remet pas en cause la voix de l'artiste mais la voix ne fait pas tout.
Rien a dire sul suo commento. Ma trovo che non si può paragonare niente, e di qualsiasi genere, al canto di oggi..purtroppo ci dobbiamo e accettare quello che c'è,nulla è più come prima..La saluto.🍷🐶✋
Esattamente la tecnica non è la stessa e la generazione più giovane è molto rischiosa per la propria voce
