    STORYLINE:
Three armed environmental protection agents were killed Wednesday in Haiti’s capital during the third consecutive day of demonstrations which have paralyzed the country amid growing calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry.
The deadly shooting between police officers and agents with Haiti’s Security Brigade for Protected Areas occurred in the Laboule community of Port-au-Prince, according to a police official who spoke to The Associated Press.
He declined to provide his name and said he wasn’t at the scene but was briefed about the shooting by fellow officers who were involved.
The official claimed that the environmental agents opened fire after police asked them to drop their weapons, prompting police to shoot. The AP could not independently verify the claim, and officials with the Security Brigade for Protected Areas could not be immediately reached for comment.
Video showed the car that was allegedly driven by the agents riddled with bullet holes. In the footage it is being driven by police, who are preventing others from approaching it.
Clashes were reported elsewhere in Port-au-Prince, with officials firing tear gas and live bullets to break up crowds of protesters.
Protesters and journalists had to run for cover as police fired shots in the air.
Late last month, the government ordered a crackdown on the State environmental department whose heavily armed agents have grown more powerful in recent months and were blamed for violent clashes with police in the north of the country.
Banks, schools and government agencies shuttered in Haiti’s northern and southern regions while protesters set tires ablaze to block main routes, paralyzing public transportation.
The growing number of protests comes as Haiti struggles with a spike of gang violence and deepening poverty, awaiting a U.N.-backed deployment of Kenyan police officers.

The Haitian population is increasingly growing tired of foreign invasion, and for many reasons. Given the deteriorating factor of the conditions on the ground, you ought to ask yourself if there's an actual government running the country?
If there's one, what exactly they've been up to for roughly three years now?
Looking at this clip, you can see how adept the so-called Police Forces are in their craft when it comes to shooting at their targets. Well, believe it or not, those targets are BSAP agents in plain uniform, not in civilian clothing where they could have been mistaken for any random gunmen.
What danger did those BSAP agents represent for the public at large to the point where they should have been ambushed and killed by the Police Forces?
This was planned so well that they've walked with their own ambulance which they used to carry the dead bodies of those BSAP agents to the nearby Police Station of Petion-ville, and there's been corroborating evidence with video shortages showing them entering in that said Police station. Of those video shortages, we've seen two of those agents in handcuffs entering the Police Station, and it's been reported that they have been executed shortly thereafter, and they were buried in a mass-grave , and access to that site is prohibitively unaccessible to everyone because those militias called Police officers were shooting aimlessly at every angle in that area to keep it sealed.
The northern entrance of the Capital has been under the control of a certain group for quite a while now, and the government hasn't done a thing to chase away those gunmen on the ground that they weren't able to do so due to lack of resources, and inadequate training of the Police Forces. To travel from the northern region to the Capital, you either agree to pay a huge trunk of money to those gunmen, or you have to pay roughly $300 US to fly in. During this uprising, while those BSAP agents have announced they were heading to the Capital to free the Population from the bondage of despair and fear by going through the northern entrance where those gunmen have been operating for roughly Three years now; all of the sudden, that very same government finds well-, equipped armored vehicles to place in that area to prevent the entry of the BSAP agents to the Capital.
In light of this blazing remark, you expect this population to trust that government?
Where have they been for the last three years?
Now, you want a Multinational Coalition to come in to do what exactly?
To fight against the gangs that the very same government have put in place to destroy the population to keep their power going?
And now, you expect them to be cool with a foreign invasion that would play right in the hand of the corrupt and evil regime who's the responsible for their dilemma in the first place?
If you truly want to help the Haitian people, and not the demonic government, you need to open a serious investigation on the government itself before you even think of dissolving the gangs on the streets.
    Why?
Because without the support of this government, the gangs on the streets would not have been existed.
You should get to them first and foremost, and then, you take to the Street to go after the gangs on the streets.
