How to Waa Waa Like a Wombat

Would you like to waa waa like a wombat? That can be easier than some sounds! You can just say “waa waa,” almost like a baby crying just a little. Wombats are small, round, marsupials with short legs, and wombats like to dig, dig, dig underground…they look a bit like a beaver but have tiny tails, and they dig a really long set of tunnels called warrens. Their warrens are so big that, when danger comes - like a fire, other animals may crowd into a wombat’s warren to stay safe, too. Of course, a wombat can bite, but wombats only eat grass and other plants.
