I did, but that was more to do with the beer, had plenty of ventilation, though I did die from radiation poisoning from the fallout blowing in, but it's okay, I had another guy... :P
I tried cooking with my Aladdin #37 but it wasn't practical. It wasn't hot enough to fry eggs properly and took 30 minutes to boil 4 cups of water. I've got a vintage Valor paraffin camping stove that works great now.
I'll agree that it's not practical, I just did the steak for fun (couldn't get the pan continuously hot enough to get a good sear and make it medium rare), but from a different standpoint, it's useful if you were to cook a casserole or stew on, or another large volume slow-cooked meal, so it does have it's uses for cooking still, which is a handy thing to have as a backup... :)
At least you have Portmerion botanical range plates in an apocalypse lol btw biggest threat to Americans isnt zombies or Russians it’s themselves! Lol 😂
